A lovely property with a welcoming owner, Edel. Fantastic view out of the windows and skylights to the village with the ocean rolling into the bay. The room was cozy, bath small but just fine, breakfast and service first class! Loved it! A short walk into the village of Lahinch was perfect and easy access to Cliffs of Moher. We enjoyed our stay. The only glitch was Booking.com telling us we had paid in full and then confusion at check-out where we paid with our credit card again. Ended up paying only once, but was unclear with Booking.com.

Room Tip: We liked #3, especially because of the sitting area in the window.

Visited Craglea Lodge for 2 nights recently and I really enjoyed the experience. Arrived late and Edel had made arrangements for me to get in and had room organised. I met Emerald in the morning and I enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. The room was excellent with a wonderful view and I would certainly recommend this location for your stay in Lahinch.

We arrived after 6 hours on the road to what we thought was craglea lodge nobody was there so we called the host who was out and said would be back as was having a walk. That was fine eventually she arrived and asked us if we were here for b&b we said yes. We were then told we were outside the wrong house that it belonged to her parents and we were trespassing! I did say how were we supposed to know that and we got another smart reply. Understandably we were at the wrong house but the way she spoke to us made us feel like criminals. It wasn’t a great start and we didn’t feel welcome at all more like inconveniences. On the whole room was ok and we were dreading seeing her at breakfast but thankfully it was a different girl and the contrast was so different she was welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely breakfast. We are seasoned travelers but to be greeted that way hasn’t happened before the welcome is the most important factor from the start. If it wasn’t paid for we would have left.
