Just back from a fabulous stay in this hotel. The reception area is beautiful and modern. The pub and food are amazing. However, the carpets need refurbishment badly along the corridors. The play inn is such a good addition and my son made loads of new friends. The staff were so fabulous, professional and down to earth . On arrival to our room we were disappointed, however the reception staff responded promptly and moved us to a lovely quiet room which was immaculate. The girl on desk(i cant remember her name) but she was so helpful. Food was fabulous... Huge portions! We loved the outdoor playground, crazy golf and tennis court. This was great fun for all the family. The hotel is close to the castle and bunratty so we had lovely visits to both places. Its such a family friendly hotel. We all really enjoyed it. I just think in order for it to up to a higher standard, the carpets could do with being changed on the corridors. The gym is compact but has everything you need. The changing rooms could do with an upgrade. I think this hotel is full of potential. But honestly for family friendliness, staff, food, and children's activities its an ideal family holiday and i would not hesitate to go back and will be recommending! It was also all managed so well regarding covid also. My son was sooo upset leaving all his new friends! Well done to ye all.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying with you on your first weekend you opened. It was our second time staying and really felt the need to commend you and the staff on how fantastic the way the place is ran....it really is a credit to you all.  From checking in, the guys at the desk gave us such a real warm friendly welcome, they just seemed to be delighted to be back at work, and they were so polite and helpful.  We went to the pool at 12.30pm with the kids straight away the girl there(can't remember her name she had red hair) was so nice and friendly and again welcoming... 2pm we went to Shannigans, the front of house welcome was brilliant, got seated and our waitress (hope I have her name right,Rachel) was so chatty and friendly. Had such good craic chatting and advising us about food and the area. She's such a lovely girl.  Went to the soft play and the young girls there were the same. Had a drink in the bar afterwards and the fair hair guy (used to be on reception when place was closed) was again so friendly attentive and chatty We love going away with the kids and it's not many hotels that provide this fantastic service, nothing was too much trouble and they made going on a break with kids so easy. Friends of ours came to join us on the sat and they're coming back again the end of July with another couple after our recommendation.  The room was lovely and spacious and spotless clean so hats off to the housekeeping too!  My only complaint is there's no availability for the rest of the summer(not really a complaint lol) we only wish we could go back down! I was unfortunate enough to forget my rain jacket when I left and the girls on reception had it posted up to me following day.  You should be so proud of your staff, we've stayed in a lot of family hotels including Center Parcs and your hotel is up there on our top 3.  I think people are very quick to complain so feel this review is very deserving.  Looking forward to staying with you again soon!

Dear TripAdvisor Member, What a wonderful review to receive! We really appreciate you taking the time to share this experience. Feedback like this is so important to our whole team as it really emphasizes that all of our hard work and efforts since reopening have been worth it. From our friendly and detailed check-in process to the attentive and helpful service that we provide in Shannigans Gastro Pub the warm open approach of our staff clearly left a massive impression on you and your family. Our family facilities of the pool and Play Inn ensured that your kids had great fun throughout their stay. We pride ourselves in being a family friendly hotel so again it's terrific to see us being praised and highlighted for this very fact. When the only complaint is in relation to a lack of availability for another stay, we really know that we've done our job. Thank you for illustrating so many positive elements of our hotel and our offering. We do look forward to hosting you again soon in the not too distant future and maybe to even becoming your number one destination all out on our own after the next trip! :) Kind regards, Dermot Hogan Sales and Marketing Manager

Excellent service from all staff we encountered from the reception to the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful. Food in the bar was excellent and very relaxing. We also used the pool and only criticism here was the fact that everyone had to leave the pool at the same time which made for a slightly crowded changing room. Great experience overall.

Dear TripAdvisor Member, Yet again it's our staff who are earning us great praise for being so friendly and helpful. Feedback like this is very rewarding and it makes all of our team's hard work worth it. Thank you also for recommending the quality of our food in Shannigans Gastro pub in particular. We do manage booking slots at the pool very carefully and we have a policy of encouraging guests to get changed in their own bedrooms as part of our extensive Covid-19 policy but as always we will take this observation into consideration. We hope to host you here at the Inn again very soon! Kind regards, Dermot Hogan Sales and Marketing Manager

The Inn at Dromoland really exceeded our expectations. It was a brilliant stay from start to finish. The team at reception were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The bar and restaurant staff were the exact same. Every one of the hotel team that we encountered provided wonderful hospitality. The food was excellent also. Shannigans was our location for a lovely lunch while the restaurant was top notch for breakfast and dinner. This was our first trip to the Inn but we’ll definitely return again!
