Reception staff are second to none. Pleasant and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and no shortage of towels. Restaurant food is very good and staff are so helpful but the bar food is the business. Great choice of dishes on the menu and the burgers and the fish and chips are...

This is mine and my husband's first time to Ireland and we REALLY enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly, we had a delayed flight so we got in quite late and the front desk lady still had sandwiches made for our hungry souls even though the kitchen had already closed an hour prior. Our room...

Beds were comfy, bathroom is large, the front desk is great and helped with local laundry service. Guess it's a kid friendly hotel lots of families staying there. For what we paid I would recommend it. Good starting point for our vacation in Ireland.

Beautiful reception area, plenty of parking, that's everything good. Now the bad. Crazy golf, 18 holes, covered in stones and pebbles, golf club was bent 30 degrees, of the 18 holes, most were repeated so there are 6 different holes. The hotel isn't sign posted at the motorway exit, so don't make the mistake of driving to Dromoland, drive towards...

Thank you Brendan36 for taking the time to leave your review and delighted that you enjoyed parts of your stay. In relation to the Crazy Golf and Foot Golf, as the weather has not been good recently with heavy rainfall etc it was not possible to have these ready for the week which I apologise for. Regarding the tea/coffee facilities...

We've just returned from a weekend break at The Inn At Dromoland. The highlights were the very friendly and helpful staff, the delicious food (both breakfast and evening meal) and the location for touring Clare's sights. The only issues were minor and would be easily resolved; a) on checking in, the receptionist gave us no details on where the dining...

Dromoland Castle only had one night available, so we stayed here the second night. It is a nice hotel/inn that has a pub, restaurant, and a room for tea. The rooms appear to be remodelled . There is no air conditioning, but the windows do open. We saw lots of families staying here, and they had a playground and arcade...

Had a small family occasion here recently and it was just perfect. We were given the sun room off reception and it was ideal. Food was lovely and staff were unreal, couldn't do enough for us, we had small kids who were making good use of the games room and staff were equally as good to them, especially Susan. Thanks...

Had a lovely relaxing stay here. Hotel staff can't do enough to help. Olive on reception was so good. She advised us of best way to get to Cliffs of Moher and then onto Ailwee Caves and Birds of Prey centre both of which are obviously well worth a visit. We didn't see her when we got back but the...

I am sorry not to be giving a higher rating as there is a lot to like about this place, including its location, general ambience and, particularly, staff. However, a number of features, mostly involving temperatures (hence my title) lead me to down-rate it. My wife and I booked a single night, DB&B package while travelling through the area. Our...

As we have stayed previously in the Lodge at Ashford Castle on the grounds at Ashford we assumed the Inn at Dromoland is on the grounds of Dromoland Castle, it is actually a few minutes down the road from it. Fair enough. It was until recently the Clare Inn. First impressions there is a lovely view from the Inn situated...
