This is my second stay at this hotel which in my opinion is in dia need of refurbishment in the rooms, it's old fashioned and tired looking, carpets dusty and slightly worn, curtains at the window are cheap and useless at blocking out the street light and the nets are old fashioned and a dirty looking. We were disappointed to...

I stayed here last Tuesday and it was the best stay in a hotel in ages. The receptionist Lisa ran the place and worked so hard behind the bar and giving us our breakfast the next morning. The hotel itself is really quirky. The breakfast is amazing and there is such a wide variety. Definately worth a visit.

We stayed in the hotel on the June bank holiday Sunday night. We had attended a function there that day. On our first attempt to check in we waited about 10 mins and rang the bell no one came so we went off. On our second attempt we managed to get checked in about 4pm but when we went to...

We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused during your stay here at the Munster Arms Hotel. The June Bank Holiday weekend is a very very busy weekend for us and indeed the town of Bandon - The hotel was completely booked out by a group on Saturday night, where late checkouts caused the delay on Sunday. We do understand...

I was in the Munster Arms in a group of 23 men for a function on Sunday 12/6. It was the perfect end to an enjoyable day. We had booked a private room for a one course meal & sing-song. The meal of Corned Beef and veg was excellent and there was plenty more veg for those who wanted it....

Old world hotel with history. If you want rows and rows of identical rooms on identical floors with a sanitised minimalist look, go elsewhere. If you want charm, character and homeliness, then the Munster Arms is for you. A great spot to base a tour of West Cork. Highly recommended.

Booked on booking.com on April 25 for a stay on May 21. Arrived at reception and no sign of our names on that night's list. Receptionist could see my booking on her computer but nobody had transferred it to the written diary. Simply told me there was nothing she could do as they were fully booked. Manager was "unavailable". When...

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused upon your arrival at our hotel. Unfortunately, all of our rooms were fully booked on your date of arrival, with a double booking being no fault of your own. We accept responsibility for the mistake made on our side and appreciate that it should not have happened nor does it usually happen....

Nice hotel, really comfortable beds, clean and tidy, staff really nice, breakfast was disappointing but sufficient , hotel seemed to be understaffed, plenty of stairs to climb to your room but that was a small complaint

Really enjoyed my stay here, lovely room spotless and very good shower, the staff are very friendly and helpful, food was fantastic, breakfast is cooked to order. What a little gem in a lovely town. This is an extremely basic hotel, lacking in character and has no lift. It is inexpensive which is a help and very central to the town of Bandon. If you need to overnight in Bandon you will find a clean bed and a good shower here. However it is very ordinary and basic. The bar has no good whisky which...
