We stayed at Teach de Broc in July 2015. We had just finished a round in hard rain and wind at Doonbeg and our bus brought us to Teach de Broc. We were drenched and tired. They took all of our wet gear and washed and dried it. They treated us like family from the start. They have a wonderful... More

Have the duck for dinner. The best duck I have eaten anywhere in the world. Seriously. Only stopped in Ballybunnion because we were cycling from Tarbert to Tralee, and this was the last place with any accommodation. Boy, did we ever luck out! Rooms were magnificent too, and the very friendly and competent staff can give you advice on where... More

The service was excellent but some of the the food just didn't hit the mark. We started with salads, the blue cheese was good but the caesar just tasted a little old, My partner said the rack of lamb was truly lovely but the hake was quite off the mark, it was dry and the accompaniments were over powering. At... More

From the time the four of us checked in we were royally treated. We were here for the golf and Ballybunion is just across the street. Aoife (pronounced Afa) and husband Seamus were gracious hosts. Son Dermott looks after their cozy 6 seater bar and he also serves in their great restaurant Strollers. Terrific food consisting of great soups and... More

We arrived hours before our scheduled check in time during "race week", who knew ha! Anyways we were greeted with smiles and the staff quickly had our rooms cleaned and ready for us. Teach de Broc truly is a hidden gem! The rooms are lovely and dinner was fabulous!!! If you are coming to play golf or go to the... More

We stayed at the hotel as it is in walking distance to the Ballybunion club house. Hotel is small, more type of a guest house. Opposite of the hotel is the clubs's driving range, it got noisy in the early morning due to some machinery used for ball collection on the range. The rooms are ok, the beds with very... More

Not only was restaurant excellent, but hospitality was second to none. Our golf group of 11 checked in with drenched clothes and golf clubs late one evening. While we enjoyed a fine meal on premises, they washed, dried and folded our clothes. They stored our clubs in a drying area. Rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Ballybunion driving range is... This booking was spur of the moment due to a change in our travel plans. We've been to Ballybunion many times but rarely stay due to living within easy driving distance. However Teach de Broc makes us want to stay again! The owners were very friendly and the decor in the reception area was lovely. We were very surprised by... More

This was a last minute booking at a location that we knew nothing about,so when we arrived it was a pleasant surprise.Very friendly and helpful staff, well maintained premises, large rooms, very clean throughout. The meals were first class,we enjoyed both an evening meal and breakfast. If travelling to Ballybunion I would highly recommend a stay here, and if you are a golfer you... More
