Ashgrove House is a wonderful homey B&B in Bunratty which is close enough to Shannon Airport to make it my place to stay before flying. Four of us stayed in three different rooms, each of which were tastefully decorated - beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. The next morning, a great breakfast was made even more special when... More

Park House lived up to all the excellent reviews. Beautiful Rooms, friendly helpful staff, peace, tranquility and unexpectedly - beautiful weather. Beware of breakfast menu - we ordered Irish Breakfast and pancakes - failed to read at the bottom of the menu that pancakes were €10.00 extra and the staff member didn't point it wout when we ordered. Peeved me a... More

We were welcomed to Bunratty and Ireland by Sheila's smile. She made sure we were comfortable and gave us tips on getting around and sites to see in the area. The accommodations were beautiful and breakfasts were wonderful.

My wife and I stayed here for five nights; very close to Bunratty - however, the greatest asset of this nice facility is Sheila - warm, funny, very bright and a bastion of Irish history. When my wife and I think back on our stay it is Sheila that stands out with such fond memories. Bob & Pati Gould

We were excited to be going back to Ashgrove House B&B again. Sheila and Frank greeted us with hugs, a cuppa and fine Irish wit. Its always a delightful stay. The rooms are so well appointed, the breakfasts are hearty and delicious and the conversation, lively and fun. The Ashgrove House is minutes away from Shannon Airport and just down... More

What a sweet place to stay. Hosts Sheila and Frank are the Irish personification of what most people think of the Island--warm, full of laughter and information, and welcoming. Their home has comfortable rooms with a great breakfast that Frank cooks along with Sheila's terrific scones and breads. The afternoon Irish coffee is the best way to start conversations about... A warm welcome, warm beds waiting, and the most charming hosts you could ask for! The house is clean and cozy, and you feel quite at home from the moment you step in the door. The rooms feel calm and quiet, the beds are lovely, and you can fall asleep to the sound of gentle mooing from the farm next... More
