Had lunch in the bar in the Majestic. Food was excellent but also to note the large spacious bar, bright and airy, lots of seating space - we have two children and are always conscious that they not ruin someone else's meal by making noise - I found we could relax in the bar because you are never too close... We've just returned from spending 2 nights at the Majestic. We found it to be a very family friendly hotel and we will definitely be back. We travelled with our 2 year old daughter and the staff were lovely to her. The food is lovely, we had breakfast both mornings and a dinner in the restaurant on the 1st night... More

Very average hotel. Very dated. Beds were very small and uncomfortable. No air conditioning and could barely open the window so the room was uncomfortably warm and stuffy. People in a room a couple of doors down and spent hours talking and slamming doors at 4am so had a very poor nights sleep. All in all at €140 per night... More

My wife and I found the staff extremely accommodating and friendly. We booked for 5 nights and ended up staying an extra night. We had our 3 year old daughter with us and the staff did everything they could to make us feel at home. All of the restaurant staff and Alice at the front desk were fantastic. Ideal location... The hotel exterior, foyer and restaurant are nice but the room we stayed in was basic with wooden floor and dated decor. We had a room to the front of the hotel with view of the lake. We did catch a glimpse of the lakeview suite which seemed to have more modern decor. The rooms need some investment - ours... More

Overall the Hotel was good but a little dated. The location appears a little run down. Breakfast was good. The room had all what we required. Staff were pleasant and efficient. I would recommend to stay here

we spent one night on a bus tour in this hotel. The view was the iron mongery on the roof top. The bathroom was a disgrace, You had to close the door to use the toilet or get your towels. The toilet paper was propped up on the top of the radiator, There was nowhere to lay out our toiletries.... More

Stopped here for lunch after spending the day down at beach on a busy bank holiday,we didn't stay but the food was really good, staff were friendly and was reasonably priced for the lunch we had, most defiantly will stop in here again for a bite to eat and possibly a nights stay as the hotel looks nice.
