Detailed Reviews
Myself and my partner stayed a night in the garden view room in Roseville. What a delight it was! The hosts, Caroline and Richie, were warm and welcoming, the room was beautifully decorated, with a loaded larder, a seating area in a large bay window with stunning garden views. The bathroom was modern and featured a walk-in rain shower. Breakfast was to die for! Better than any hotel! 5 stars *****

It was our first time to stay at Roseville House and we appreciated the warm welcome from Richie and his children. We stayed in the Garden room and it was really peaceful and quiet. Everything was provided for our comfort. In addition, it was really considerate of Richie to buy dairy-free products for breakfast as one of us is lactose-intolerant. The room and ensuite bathroom was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It felt like being home from home. We're delighted to have found such a lovely place to stay and will be booking with Richie and Caroline for our next trip to Youghal.

We stayed at Roseville during the Ironman event and could not have asked for a better place to stay!
The attention to detail was perfect and the room came with a full breakfast basket, a kettle and a toaster - everything we needed was there.
The garden was a peaceful haven from the festivities and was an excellent place to eat dinners we’d brought back from local takeaways.
Richie & Caroline were the best, so welcoming and always with a great suggestion and advice on where to go in town. We were lucky enough to catch Richie playing with his band at a local pub one evening too!
Thank you so much, we had an incredible time and we would love to come back!

My partner and I stayed for two nights in July 2020. We could not find any fault with the room, decor, facilities, cleanliness etc. The room and bathroom were excellent. We were extremely comfortable and relaxed in Roseville. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed being able to have breakfast in our room and feel going forward this is an idea solution for any B&B accommodation. We would definitely recommend Roseville B&B and would stay there again. Kathryn

We stayed in the tastefully decorated Garden Room which was just as well because the weather was changeable and we used it more than anticipated. The Housekeeper and cleaner were both friendly and helpful. Little bit noisy due to road nearby but a nice place to relax. Very handy for east Cork and Waterford and associated attractions.

Cannot recommend Roseville House highly enough. I arrived in Youghal last Thursday after a long trip and had intended to stay just for one night. As soon as Caroline showed me into the Garden Suite I decided to stay for two!
Lovely, roomy suite with a huge and very comfortable bed and pillows, fantastic en suite with power shower, lots of storage for clothes. The suite was extremely clean and very tastefully decorated with detail to ensure the highest comfort for guests. There was also a secret larder in the suite, stocked up with modern coffee machine, a huge range of teas, various cereals, jams & preserves, a fridge stocked with milk and 2 huge glass bottles of fresh water. Pretty much everything and more.
If that wasn't enough, your breakfast is delivered to your room at a time that suits the guest. I was delighted to be handed a lovely hamper full of fresh pastries, toast, butter, fresh & delicious local yoghurt, a huge container of assorted fresh berries & fruits, and a huge canister of fresh orange juice...just delicious! There is a roomy table in the suite to eat this lovely breakfast, but on a sunny day you can sit outside on tables & chairs in the award winning garden.
I felt completely spoilt with the luxurious suite, breakfast and general fantastic attention to every detail, whilst paying a more than reasonable price. It felt like a home, but a home with lots of luxuries and surprises.
Also want to say that Caroline and Ritchie went above and beyond to make me feel welcome at Roseville and in Youghal. Caroline suggested I go see Ritchie and his fellow band mates play at the local pub, The Nook. The music was excellent, the locals really friendly and Richie introduced me to everyone. On my 2nd day, Ritchie suggested I book a walking tour of Medieval Youghal and gave me directions of where to go. As it was a cloudy day and he knew I was on foot, he was also kind enough to offer to pick me up if I got caught in the rain. Luckily I avoided the rain, but again really impressed by the kindness and thought given.
The friendliness of the locals and the generous hospitality provided by Ritchie and Caroline made me feel sad to leave Roseville and Youghal. I loved the Garden Suite - ideal setting for a romantic getaway, or a well deserved treat for loved ones. I'd give it 11 out of 10 if I could, and I hope to come and stay again. Thanks Caroline & Ritchie, you are superb hosts!

My husband and I stayed at Roseville last week. We stayed in a garden suite, it was beautifully decorated, with every convenience you could ask for. Richard kindly welcomed us, and insured we were comfortable throughout our stay. We ordered our breakfast the evening before and it was brought up to our suite at our chosen time, it was absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented. We would highly recommend Roseville House and look forward to our next trip to Youghal.

We stayed at Roseville for two nights last weekend. It was the nicest place we have ever stayed..The owners Ritchie and Caroline were both friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. We had our own entrance .The decor was beautiful. The rain shower was fabulous but the best thing about our room was the larder cupboard. It contained a fridge ,toaster, kettle ,coffee maker ,glasses ,cutlery and crockery. A beautiful basket of fresh food was there on our arrival ( bread milk cookies fruit yogurts juice butter) and was replenished the next morning.Roseville is in walking distance of lots of great restaurants and the beach is a nice walk away.We will definitely be back ,,

We stayed 2 nights at this charming property. Richie & Caroline are welcoming hosts. We were very pleased with the Garden Room, which was comfortable, separate to main house, larder stocked with quality products for breakfast. Will stay again!

Roseville House was a pleasure to stay in. It is a little gem. We stayed in the Garden suite which is upstairs with a view of the pretty garden and the lovely roses.
The apartment had a very peaceful atmosphere, it was tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed to feel at home.
The hide away breakfast nook had tea and coffee facilities and was very well stocked with all you could need for breakfast, including a toaster and mini fridge.
There was a welcome basket packed with delicious and thoughtful goodies such as freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and chocolate biscuits
It was an easy walk to Youghal centre, also close to a big supermarket which was handy, and few steps to several restaurants and cafes.
Our hosts had provided a very comprehensive information booklet about the town and highlighted attractions. They also include their contact details. Richie & Caroline were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble including organising a taxi service for us. We would highly recommend this wonderful place and plan on going back soon.
