Stayed here last weekend as a group of 7 adults and 3 kids and loved it! We booked the whole house and were delighted when we arrived and saw the space around the place (and kids were especially delighted with the trampoline and swings and dogs!). The house itself was huge with lots of room for everyone. Jean couldn't have been more helpful with any questions I had, and her homemade bread was delicious! Although the family live on the same site in a different house, I didn't feel like we were on top of each other as they were out or we were out, and it was lovely to see the kids playing together on the last day together. Highly recommend this spot to get around Cavan - we went to Killykeen, Cavan Burren Park and did kayaking at Cavan Adventure Centre. All in all a brilliant weekend staying in a lovely house with lots of happy memories!

I stayed in Farnham View Bed and Breakfast for 1 night in August 2019. The B&B is on a country road off the main road but easy to find. The owner was very welcoming and offered to drop me to nearby Farnham Estate as I was attending a function there. The room etc was very clean and comfortable. The area is very picturesque and there's a lovely view from the rooms. The breakfast was really exceptional, with delicious home-cooked food. I was by myself and there was a friendly family type of atmosphere in the dining room. Owner and staff engaged well with the visitors and shared news and tips. Anyone booking should be aware that this B&B is on a farm, in rural Ireland. Even though it is not far from Cavan town, you would need a car to explore the beautiful countryside and nearby amenities. Overall a very enjoyable and authentic Irish experience and excellent value for money.

We were a family of 5 requiring 3 rooms as we were attending a family wedding in Farnham estate. We had a wonderful experience with Jean and her team , a warm welcome, offered tea on arrival, chilled water available in fridge when we returned late at night, beautiful clean en suite rooms, a freshly cooked breakfast , freshly made granola, fruits etc ,even beautiful omlettes for the 2 vegetarians...... This was better than any 5*hotel we have stayed in. It was our Son's 21st birthday and Jean's lovely son sang happy birthday at breakfast, A great stay in a lovely family home . Continued success.

If you want a comfortable welcoming stay in Cavan, then this is the place to stay. Jean and PJ can't do enough for you. Excellent rooms, and a superb selection of breakfast cereals and fruit juices. Whether you want breakfast in your room or in the dining room, Jean and her team will always try to accommodate your wishes. A lovely family home where you're made to feel so welcome, you'll want to return. Even Daniel O'Donnell stayed here, now there's a recommendation.

Recently stayed at Farnham view for family wedding in the hotel close by. Our room was perfect, clean , bright and spacious. Couldn’t have asked for any better. On arrival also given tea:coffee and biscuits. Host left us us to hotel that evening and the next morning complimentary which was nice bonus. Breakfast was good and nothing was any trouble. Very friendly hosts, with a Gorgeous house- clean, tidy and organised. I would highly recommend. Thank you for making our stay a great one.
