Lexlip Manor Hotel is stated as a two star and it has a nice long driveway leading up to the entrance. There is a lovely sitting area outside when the weather is lovely. The Reception staff was very nice, warm and welcoming. Brought us into the bar which looks out onto the patio. The front of the building doesn't give the hotel justice until you walk around its grounds and inside the hotel. It's a pity people drive up look at the outside, but turn their head down ar around and leave and miss a treasure inside! The room we got was very spacious, crisp sheets, colour scheme absolutely devine. The bathroom had toiletries that were nothing we had before in four of five star. The room we got had stunning views of the countryside. We could see their two ponies. We were offered tea and coffee while we waited for the room. It's cleaned and airy. From the bar you can see the dining room which is airy and bright it will be interesting to see what breakfast is like there in the morning. What a lovely place to get away to breath in the fresh crisp air, and a place to recharge and think! We had a pint of Guinness, and a a glass of Guinness two portions of chips and a bowl of salad which will cost €18. The chips were lovely, fresh and crispy. We woke up and went down to have breakfast. The dining room was lovely, airy and spacious. There was plenty of juices and cereal to choose from. In the fridge there was fresh fruit salad, yogurts and cold meats, beside that a selection of items for your fry. Very enjoyable. Staff yet again were very friendly. We would give this a four star. Hope to revisit soon.

Fabulous meal tonight at this lovely hotel. New chef and new menu with plenty of choice for what we consider very good value. Great service from very friendly staff! We are very happy to say we will definitely be back.

stayed while visiting friends in leixlip . On arrival hotel was busy but we were greeted by a lovely lady who immediately checked us in and called a girl to escort us to the courtyard where our room was . Our room was in a type of house with about 4 or 5 other rooms . You had a key to the main door and a key to your room. The room was lovely and warm , wasn’t very big but comfortable , and clean . Bathroom was small but adequate . Lovely rituals toiletries . Bed very comfortable . Tea and coffee making facilities . Iron and hairdryer . We didn’t have breakfast as we were on a room only basis. Overall I would recommend this hotel as I have stayed in another hotel in leixlip and got no sleep due to noise from the bar and other guests but in Leixlip Manor it was totally the opposite quiet and peaceful and I had a good nights sleep . Would definitely stay there again .

We decided to stay here for a night away for our anniversary, while it seemed nice, the first thing we noted is that it is not very pedestrian friendly, it is definitely geared towards those driving as there is a long driveway up to the hotel and walking at night it was badly lit and no footpath. The rooms themselves were perfectly fine with tv/iron and ironing board and tea/coffee facilities and shampoo and body wash available also. Unfortunately there was an issue with the shower in our first room and we had to move rooms but the staff were very helpful and friendly. There may be some rooms in the main hotel building itself but our rooms were outside across a court yard. The rooms seems to be old barn stables that are converted which definitely adds to the charm of the place but in general could do with a bit of a revamp. We didn't try the breakfast as it wasn't included in the room price and was only served until 10.30pm on a Sunday morning so we weren't up early enough to avail of this, but we got a lovely full Irish breakfast in the Courtyard Hotel about a 10 minute walk away. It is a bit out of the way, but if I needed to be in the Leixlip area for an occasion I would probably stay again.
