I booked Cappabhaile house as part of a road trip and admit by the time of arrival I'd quite forgotten what I'd booked. What a surprise therefore to be shown a spacious suite with a lounge area, huge bed and ensuite bathroom complete with some complimentary chocolate bars immediately tempting us to a cup of tea! Breakfast had a huge... More

Staff were extremely friendly. Rooms were very clean, roomy and well decorated. The breakfasts we had were delicious, we could add or decline anything, it was no bother. There was free parking and it was so quiet. It would suit families or large groups of friends. There were no single rooms, all the rooms were double twin en-suites and some... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, with our friends, as they had stayed before. A wonderful experience. Lovely bedroom, very spacious and clean. Wonderful hosts ,Conor and Margaret made us very welcome. The breakfast menu was extensive and probably the best breakfast we have had at any accommodation we have stayed at. Would recommend cappabhaile to everyone.

Our room was very large and spacious and full of character. It was very comfortable - a wonderful big bed with lovely bedlinen and a peaceful view of fields, hills and sheep - bliss! Cappabhaile House is well set out and deceptively large. Our host suggested a concert at the local church the evening that we stayed, part of Burren... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Cappabhaile B&B for two nights. We were warmly welcomed, the room was superb, the breakfasts were the best during our one week stay in Ireland. We found our stay to be very relaxing, and even enjoyed an evening of traditional Irish music. We definitely recommend Cappabhaile B&B. If we are ever back in... More

The Burren is one of the most beautiful sceneries in Ireland, but not overrun with tourists. Cappabhaile House is a large, almost hotel-like but extremely friendly B&B. Conor gave us great tips for hikes and other things to do in the area. We loved the breakfast -- great service too, wonderfully attentive & friendly staff.

We could not have been more pleased! We had only 1 night to enjoy this lovely B&B and wished for more. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spacious and well appointed with a nice view. Breakfast was amazing. Best of all was the host! He provided great conversation, good recommendations, reading material and even a jam session of Irish music with... More

Our booked accommodation fell through and we got a room here late in the evening on bank holiday weekend so we were delighted to have a room. It was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. Conor was very friendly and welcoming. The setting is very convenient to the village and there's plenty of parking space.

Amazing B&B! Couldn't have had a better experience. Not a "typical" place where you feel like your just renting a small bedroom. We had a large family room, complete with beds for two adults and two teenagers, couch, coffee table and dressers. Very roomy, the owners are super friendly, breakfast was the best. I would definitely come back here. 35... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2016

Our family of 4 had reserved a family room for a 3 night stay in July. Unfortunately, when we arrived they did not have a room for us. Luckily I had printed my confirmation, but there was still no room. Conor, the owner, started calling all the area accommodations, but they were full. He finally found one about 15 minutes... More
