Our family of 4 had reserved a family room for a 3 night stay in July. Unfortunately, when we arrived they did not have a room for us. Luckily I had printed my confirmation, but there was still no room. Conor, the owner, started calling all the area accommodations, but they were full. He finally found one about 15 minutes... More

The room was huge and very nice. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was superb, with a lot to choose from. There's not a lot around to do or see, but this is the perfect place for a stop-over for a night.

My friend and I booked in here for the Tour de Burren Cycle. We stayed a Friday and Saturday night. The B&B is very near the village (2km), with loads of parking, and views out teh front of the Burren, and of Cappabhaile mountain out the back. The lobby, and breakfast area are really nicely decorated and there is also... More

Our host Colin was very gracious and accommodated our needs; he even provided us walking sticks to climb Cragh Patrick. We used Cappabhaile House as our base for several days of activities including Cliffs of Moher, hikes in The Burren, and Cragh Patrick. Our King room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and gigantic by European standards! The very quite Burren... More

We were on vacation in Ireland and stayed in Bed and Breakfasts for about a week. The Cappabhaile House was far and away the best B&B that we stayed in. The room was large, nicely decorated, and clean. The breakfast was the best that we had while we were on our trip. The breakfast was large and delicious. Our hosts,... More

We saw this traveling and decided it was a good time to stop. We got lucky and they had one room left. Beautiful room with excellent view. Margaret and Connor were very friendly. Rates were good, live music at night a nice touch. Breakfast was HUGE! Order half portions unless you are starving! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The hosts Margaret and Conor are most helpful and lovely people. Monster breakfast and good quality too. The rooms are spacious and clean, but the TV in our room was a bit old. Compfy bed. Close to the town - a healthy 20 min stroll and make sure you go to the whiskey bar after 9pm for the local flavour... More

If you want to get a real taste of rural Ireland, go to Clare County and visit the Burren. The Cliffs of Moher are a short drive from Cappabhaile House, and are a major draw for the area, but don't stop with a visit there. Conor, the host of this B&B is not only knowledgable about the area, he loves... More

Lovely welcome from family run B&B with very attentive staff. Spotless room and ensuite bathroom. Had to go outside to access my room but made no difference.Little touches like having radiators turned on in rooms when we arrived were nice. TVs and kettle and tea tray in every room. Delicious breakfasts with smoked salmon, or full Irish with 4 sausages!... More
