The hotel was perfectly located in this very pretty village. The room was gorgeous, and the breakfast absolutely delicious. Great bar for the guinness! All the staff were friendly and courteous. 10/10, well done! The village was very pretty, lots of great walks, loads of pubs and a wide range of restaurants. A must visit if you are exploring this... We spent one night at the Wild Atlantic Lodge recently. There were three of us so we had two rooms. Our room (9) was smaller and somewhat dingy. The wallpaper was peeling slightly above our bed exposing a bit of mold. There was also mold on the ceiling above the shower in the bathroom. However our friends room was larger... More

To be honest when I heard that the owners had changed the name from Logues B/B to The Wild Atlantic Lodge I said to myself - 'fair play what a no brainer'. Obviously when you're looking for accommodation whilst touring, wait for it.......... The Wild Atlantic Way why no stay at ! Anyway, apparently the Lodge was in the banks... More

Location was great, bar area very nice, dining room was lovely as were the staff Bedroom was tiny with a view of an ugly wall. Bathroom and shower were very very very small and need to be updated urgently. I noticed that the bathroom door was very dirty with hand and finger marks embedded into it. We were very disappointed... More

Staying in Ballyvaughan for a week. Restaurant was closed so chose to eat in the bar. Staff very friendly, good value for money and good tasty food. Atmosphere quiet at first but we were in early with the kids, started to fill around 8pm but not too crowded

We arrived to the hotel and there was nobody at the reception because the guy was too busy as bar waiter. We have been given room 18, at the end of the corridor. The room is small, the bed squeaks when you sit on it and the bathroom is lame. There is only one power plug, next to the door.... More

Stayed in the Wild Atlantic hotel in Ballyvaughan recently. An excellent place to stay when touring the Burren. It was quiet when we arrived, so check in was fast and efficient. Our room was a standard double but clean and cosy if a bit dated and had tea/coffee making facilities. Both floor boards and bed creaked somewhat, but bed was... More

Dined here for birthday celebration on 15th July 2016. The food was exceptional. A very friendly atmosphere and friendly staff added to our experience. Great menu choices The fresh crab starter was to die for, the salmon main and warm brownie dessert were the best I have ever tasted. Managed to get the recipe for the brownie! Can't wait to... More

As we were staying in Ballyvaughan, we enquired as to the best places to eat out in. The Wild Atlantic was suggested and it wasn't a disappointment . Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was spacious. There was no choice for vegetarians / vegan other than what was on the menu. Which was delicious but not true vegan. I would... More

Traditionally when we visit Ballyvaughan, our port of call is Monks seafood bar , so to our extreme disappointment we found it no longer open for business. We turned our car around and circled the village in search for a restaurant where we could sit outside. Not that the weather was entirely in our favour, we were attired for rain... More
