I had lunch in the hotel today. To be fair the food was good and the ambience is attractive. The seating however is shabby and stained . As before, the staff are either overworked or badly trained. I asked for a table for three and was told to find a table myself! Then we were ignored for fifteen minutes until... More

This is my favorite hotel in all the world. It is exquisite! We stayed in the Royal Suite and were treated like Royalty. The hotel is just what you would hope for in a Castle. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The lobby area is a great spot for afternoon tea. Very pleasant experience. We WILL be back.

The room needs an update. We were there with friends which enabled a great atmosphere with fun. The food was great and the hotel was busy which added to the atmosphere. the gardens were immaculately maintained and as the weather was good it was enjoyable to relax in the garden.

I normally stay in a hotel a few miles away but due to them being full I was put in the Fitzpatrick Castle. On arrival I went for a lovely walk up Victoria Hill then down to the coast. It was lovely and was then able to come back and went for a lovely swim in the pool. I ate... More

We are checking out today after just a one night stay. It is clear this hotel is managed well and most of the staff are what contributes to the five stars along with the nice architecture and amenities on site. Among the nice touches are flat screen TV's that are high definition; in room sound system, very comfortable bed and... More

Yes this is quite a pleasant hotel, serving great food, set in nice grounds with friendly staff but, unfortunately for me, is let down by a lack of health and safety standards. On 3 September my 13 year old son was stuck alone in a small hotel lift (elevator) for 51 minutes between floors. The emergency alarm or intercom did... More

I stayed here on business about two weeks ago. It was well priced when most of Dublin had gone mad pricewise. I had a meeting in Dun Laoghaire so it was well placed. The hotel is very quaint and the rooms well furnished (though quite why they need pillows and bolster cushions all over the bed is always beyond me).... More

My husband and I stayed at the Castle the night before returning to the States. We had a room at the end of the hall on the, I believe, the 2nd or 3rd floor. This room really needs some remodeling. The carpet had stains, the ceiling had a very large crack the entire length of the ceiling, and the worst... More

This hotel was booked for us by our tour operator. It is a very old and historical hotel situated in a beautiful spot just outside of Dublin. It is close to the main M50 motorway and a quaint little village of Dalkey Village. Just up the road is the Victoria park that has breathtaking views of The Dublin bay coastline.... More
