Came for 1 night ended up staying for 8 nights. Staff were brilliant even though they were rushed off there feet, nothing was too much trouble. Room was MASSIVE, bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms I've stayed in. Food was good in both bar and restaurant. Free Live music on our last night was great. Views from hotel were... More

Stayed here with my husband on a mid- week break to relax. Came home a new woman! This hotel offers so much in terms of food ( top class) highly recommend the steak! Views to die for. And finally I must mention the staff of this hotel - from our arrival at reception to the fine young chap at the... More

1 night only is enough. Dirty rooms, dirty linen, holes in towels & smell of smoke / musty in the room. Prices don't include breakfast either. Wouldn't stay here again. However when we did say it at the reception desk, money was taken off final bill straight away which is good. Almost as standard process......

We got married here in the middle of August and it was quite simply superb! From start to finish there was no stone left unturned by the staff at Kilcoran and nothing was too much trouble (e.g. Extra care taken of guests with food allergies). All our guests raved about the standard of food and service in the hotel where... More

It's not the Ritz...... But we had a comfortable clean room, big bathroom and good shower. The staff were all first class, friendly and attentive. Breakfast was easy and good and again the service and attention was great. We would certainly stay again if ever in the area.

From the moment we drove up the avenue and saw the hotel emerge from the trees we just went 'wow' - we instantly felt the calmness and beauty of our surroundings. We were welcomed on arrival by a friendly receptionist who briefed us on the hotel and it's surrounds. Location is superb, plenty to do, plenty to see, walks, cycling,... More

A hotel in a super location for exploring the local area. The hotel itself is in need of some TLC. The staff are a little "Faulty Towers" but very friendly. Both days we had to ask for the correct number of towels for our room. The food left a lot to be desired... Expensive with small portions. No real vegetarian... More

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the quaint old style of building and location the staff in reception and bar are lovely and very accommodating. The food is very good and will definitely return for a visit. Even when under pressure from awkward people they kept a good manner and smiling face 😔
