Always make a stop in Mulcahy's when I get the chance, atmosphere is relaxed, two of the bar staff there a great always up for a chat, one guy with a ponytail and another guy youngfella. Food is also lovely. everything under one roof, music, drink, food, pool and rounded off with nice staff and relaxing atmosphere. Thumbs up.

When we arrived there was a smell of smoke from the room. I made a complaint and was moved to a better room in fairness. The restaurant food is not good luck. We ordered a large portion of chicken wings and they were deep fried thick in grease and repeated on us all night. I also ordered a fish and... More

Stayed in Clonmel and found it while looking for something light for dinner. Not crowded at all. We ordered appetizers to share and a few drinks. Wait staff very friendly. Overall a great dinner of salad and tempura.

We were in Clonmel for a week in March and ate both lunch and dinner at this homestyle restaurant/pub a few times. Each time the food was wonderful -- best mashed potatoes I had in Ireland.
