I booked this guest house via an Irish review and booking facility, it had good reviews, I can only say they must be writing them themselves or people who do are blind, dirty, grubby, smelly, and more, Towels like sand paper, toilet not even fastened to the floor, if your bigger than 15 stone, you won't even fit in the...

Loved this B & B in Dundalk. The room was nice, nothing huge or fancy, but we were looking for one night accommodation and were up and gone after breakfast. It suited us perfectly. We were in walking distance of the pubs and restaurants. And the recommendations they gave us for both were dead on and delightful. Dundalk was a...

Room is old and dirty, bathroom is full of stains and the carpet and bedlinnen has cigarette stains. On the upper floor the smell of the (old) cooking oil is very unpleasant. Emergency exit is blocked with old tv's. Owner does not react on comments about the room. Wouln't recommend at all.

Myself and Herself were up in Dundalk for a birthday party and Glen Gat was apparently a ten minute stroll from where we were to eat. It's great when the B&B is easy to find, but it's even better when there's easy parking right outside the door! anyway, we were met by the owner at reception and given a warm...

It is such a pleasure to stay at the Glen Gat. You are made to feel right at home. Such a convenient location - close to a bus stop, the train to Dublin/Belfast and even the (new) Tesco is a short walk away. Nice breakfast served hot and with a very pleasant attitude. Tim is a great host and local...

This B&B comprises three older houses knocked through and combined into one. Our room was not overly large but had an en-suite and was clean and tidy. The staff (it was big enough that I saw at least four different people working there) were friendly and helpful. The area is not that interesting but is only a short (15 minute)...

This was the second time I stayed at GlenGat around Christmas. It is wonderfully decorated dor the holidays. I had a few holiday gatherings with friends and it was so convenient. Thanks to the Mullins family for another great visit to Dundalk!

I stayed here for one night over the weekend and I had a very enjoyable stay. The host Tim could not have done enough and made me feel very welcome. The room was clean, warm and cozy and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend.
