This place was brilliant for food and venue but the service was erratic.. Verging on basil Fawlty. Fine tune the service and your have it spot on. Only dined in the restaurant though. So yet to try the hotel.

We were passing by for the night and the hotel offered all the comforts of home. A great bed, large bathroom and delicious breakfast. There is also a lot of parking which was handy. Recommend it for anyone travelling through the area.

Good big room/suite king size bed good clean linen and bathroom spacious and clean. Staff helpful and pleasant. Dining room very busy on the evening we ate there and service was a trifle tardy however, food was very good and the coffee was great. I did find the reception area and dining room smelled a little musty, would benefit from... More

Very disappointed. we stayed for three nights. We had arranged to meet two friends in the restaurant , so a party of eight had dinner and the food was poor. Later in the bar I asked the barman for a glass of water... and it was warn with no ice or lemon . At 11.45 we were asked to take... More

We choose this for a short weekend break. It's slap bang in the middle of the village. Perfectly positioned for touring around the beara peninsula and the boat to Garnish Island is across the road. Rooms are very cosy and clean. Staff are so helpful and nice. Food- Breakfast are cooked to order and fantastic. We had dinner in the... More

My husband, our son, his fiance and our granddaughter had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff was more than pleasant, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the restaurant/bar was wonderful and the location for a tourist couldn't have been better. In addition, the price was very reasonable for all the amenities.

This is the first negative review I ever entered but feel it is important to let others know how disappointing this property is. From the lobby to the rooms, it felt very shabby. The room overlooked the roof, with the vents from the kitchens. We could even hear them talking in the kitchen of the restaurant below. We never brought... More

Amazing village in West Cork to base yourself to experience the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Hotel was a haven for us to go back to after days out and about in the Peninsula and local area. Breakfast was generously laid out with cereals etc and choice of hot food. Ate here for dinner on first night, local mussels are a must... More
