They are currently building a new spa at the Eccles hotel but on my recent visit I learned their spa team is there and offering massage treatments in a bespoke room. I opted for a full body massage and my therapist George was amazing. Unlike many spa massages when you feel like you've had a light back rub, George's massage was fantastic and made me feel amazing without deep pressure which I said I don't like. I will definitely return again for a massage at the Eccles and can't wait to see their spa.

We had a lovely lunch in this hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. Excellent food and great service with lovely views from the window. Sadly we didn't stay in the hotel, but we did find the village interesting.

First visit to the hotel and what a perfect place to be based, coming home each evening to the most amazing views and fine dining. All of the staff were most helpful and we were grateful to have help sorting out our flights home by Mary on reception. The breakfast was of the highest quality as were the restaurant meals. The single rooms are quite small but the bathroom was newly refurbished with a wonderful shower, and having a sea view from the bed made for a perfect start to each day.

An exceptional hotel - friendly and efficient staff, front rooms looking across the beautiful Bantry Bay, and an excellent menu. The two fireplaces (lit) in the comfortable lounge were both a warm and welcome sight on a stay during a cool springtime.
