The hotel is located across from the ocean in a quaint town. The people working @hotel very friendly, informative. Bartender was THE BEST. The food was exceptional. Very relaxing. Can not wait to go back.

Great staff and lovely food in the Fishermans Bar. The full Irish was also excellent for breakfast. A very nice place to stay to explore this stunning coastline. We had a fantastic view from the room.

We were in Waterville to celebrate a birthday and opted to stay in the Butler Arms for three nights. We arrived on a Sunday evening in a horrible rain storm and were greeted by lovely turf fire in foyer and welcoming staff. Our room overlooked the bay however the heating was not working, so requested room change which was done.... More

We only had a meal in the bar but we had a very warm welcome and a delicious meal here. The staff were very professional and considerate even though it was very busy. The fish food was especially delicious. Somewhere we wished we had been around for longer.

Maybe this is the best you can find in the Ring of Kerry? I just thought the place felt like it needed freshening and updating. The bedspreads, towels and bathrooms all seemed dirty and old. they may have been clean...just hard to tell. The lighting in the rooms and bathrooms was really low. Maybe, that was on purpose so we... More

Loved this beautiful B&B. Mary Clifford was a wonderful host and was so very attentive. Mary offered us a cup of tea and scones on our arrival. The natural lighting in the beautiful breakfast room was special. The room was comfortable. I will return!!

Lovely old hotel, plenty of famous people have been there whilst playing golf. Room was well appointed and a good size. Didn't use the dining areas as we ate elsewhere. Lots of people in the restaurant. Great spot to get of the beaten track instead of the usual tourist spots. Breaks up the Ring drive nicely. Great beach views.

This is an amazing family run hotel in a stunning location looking right out at the Atlantic. Food is superb both in the Fisherman's Bar and Chaplin's restaurant and staff put in that little bit extra to make your stay memorable! There were twelve of us on a return visit and you could not fault it on any front. The... More
