This large modern B&B is right on the shore of Lough Currane, and gives you an old fashioned Irish welcome all the way through your stay. Rooms are large and comfortable, it's near the Kerry Way walking route, quiet at night, well away from the Ring of Kerry traffic, with a big sitting room, and picnic tables outside. The lake... We were there as a three generation family visit. Our kids were made to feel quite welcome-Ann even offered to babysit one night! The staff are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. And the views and location are just spectacular. Waterville is a very beautiful place.

We had come down from Cork on our road trip of Ireland and did the Killarney Park drive. What a fabulous journey along the 'Ring of Kerry' to our stop over in Waterville. The B&B looked very impressive in a picturesque setting along the inlets and outlets of the sea. You have to travel off the road for about a... More

We had a very nice night at the lakelands Guesthouse. Booked 1 night for a break half way through the Ring of Kerry and it was simply beautiful. On the lake shore with a beautiful view over the lake and an amazing, secluded, quiet location. Very nice and helpful owners.

We spent one night at Lakelands Farm Guesthouse. Upon arrival after a long day of driving and sightseeing we were greeted by the owners and immediately offered us a lovely pot of hot tea and chocolate bikkies. The house is very comfrtable and a wonderful place to windown and relax. The cooked breakfast was delisicous with possibly some of the... More

As cyclists we strive to find B & Bs in locations that allow us to cycle out to great places. This is one of those! This home (and it feels like a home) is near several great places! We cycled to Valentia Island and took a boat trip to the Skellig Islands, and several other great rides. Anne and Frank,... More

We arrived at this B&B fairly late in the evening (9:30 pm), but the owner was there to greet us and set out tea. We were very lucky to get a room with a balcony! We took an evening stroll through the property down to the lake to watch the sunset. I stayed up very late on our balcony to... More

I'm so glad we discovered this place. The views were amazing! It was so peaceful and beautiful. I would recommend staying here. Anne was a perfect hostess and took care of our every need. This was our first B&B of our Ireland trip and it was by far the best. We got in late our first night and Anne was... More
