We stayed here for 5 days and felt really looked after and cared for. It was lovely! Three of our group are vegan and Tom O'Neil went out of his way to provide vegan options for breakfast and there was such a spread we were able to take some for lunch later. The rooms were very comfortable and we all... More

Great B & B. There is a little pub on site, really tiny .... so you can enjoy a drink and chat with the host and locals, before retiring to bed ! Love it. Great way to experience the real Ireland ! Music and singing often happens here, but it isn't a tourist show, and so, cannot predict when ...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Our bin hadn't been emptied when we arrived and the tea and coffee making facilities were missing. There was no tv in the room and the bathroom and bedroom needed a makeover eg the handle on the wardrobe was missing and the furniture could do with updating. The whole building could do with a makeover... More

First impressions of the b & b are good bright clean spacious rooms. Nice bathroom. Location is quiet and you would need a car to get around. Breakfast wasn't great and I def don't recommend the scrambled egg. There was no alternatives like fruit or cereal or at least wasn't offered. Kettles in rooms but no tea facilities. All in... More

Service was spot on. Live music and craic was amazing. Such talent in a small, homely bar. Very welcoming and full of stories and characters. everything from spoon players to guitar duos. We will be back so watch out!

We stayed one night at Coosan Cottage on our way back to Dublin. The innkeeper was very welcoming and stayed to talk with us for a while. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. There is music and a small pub with warm fires. Breakfast was very good and made to order. If we are ever near Athlone... More

A group of us stayed here after a friends wedding in Athlone. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable too. Tommy was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and at home. When we arrived in the early hours of the morning he greeted us at the bar where we finished off the... More

My favourite place to stay in Ireland ..... A cosy, intimate pub with open fire, great company, and friendly host. I don't like beer, and although this is my third time in Ireland, I still had not tasted Guinness. Tom poured me a glass... so I could taste it ....... tick off list .... lots of merriment ..... definately an... More
