My hubby had a meeting in the Creggan Court hotel so as he staying over I decided to accompany him. I booked on Expedia and it cost 58 euro bed and breakfast so I had no expectations at all of the hotel. How wrong could I be.!. It had everything an expensive hotel has and was the same quality. Had a great day cycling on the Athlone to Mullingar railway bike line but our stay at the Creggan Court Hotel was more than disappointing. Smallest family room I have ever seen. No toilet paper in bathroom. Staff unprofessional and unfriendly. Sunday lunch was carvery. .poor food and service. Breakfast tasteless and stale.

Came across an offer on Escapes.ie for this hotel so we said we'd gave it a try. As we pulled up to the hotel I thought we'd made a big mistake. The colour of the hotel is AWFUL, it really needs a makeover! Once inside the hotel I was very impressed. Its an old style hotel, very clean and comfortable....

Stayed here with a work colleague recently and the impression I got was that the place is in need of renovation. The bathrooms are out of date, the bedrooms also dated, the restaurant needs brightening up. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good.
