We had a beautiful dinner, cosy romantic atmosphere, friendly people. The inn is tastefully decorated and makes you feel like you are at home. The room we stayed in was very spacious and light, the bed was super comfortable and we had some nice coffee table books and magazines to read. I'm glad we made a stop in Lisdoonvarna

Recommending in a guide book - never again. No reservation but a table was free. Were given menus immediately. Then waited half an hour for the order to be taken. We had been about to leave at that point. We went with mains,so that we could fit in dessert. The food took an hour to arrive and my veggie risotto... More

Wanted to try this place for a while so headed over for dinner. Wish I had done it sooner. Food was really delicious. Simple and straightforward, but done beautifully. If I had any criticism, it would be that they seemed a little understaffed for a Saturday night. To be fair though, we weren't waiting for anything, just no time for... More

Inn Keepers were kind and informative. Rooms were super clean and nicely appointed. While we didn't eat dinner (everybody kept telling us how good it was but it was closed the night we were there) the breakfast was awesome. Best yet, we had dinner reservations in Doolin but couldn't get a cab and the owners gave us a lift. :)... More

I'm not sure why Sheedys has a higher rating than the Wild Honey Inn, that's taste for you I suppose. We had a really nice meal, very flavoursome with decent portions. The staff were really friendly and the young waitress pulled the best pint of Guinness I've had outside of Dublin in a long time.

We are 3 friends/ colleagues and we love trying new places to eat. It can be cheap and cheerful or Michelin star, we don't care as long as the food is excellent and we feel special at the end of the night. Our catch up usually takes place in Dublin but circumstances changed so we agreed to meet in Kinvara... More

Spent a weekend here in August. Really delightful stay and the food - especially the breakfasts - were fabulous. Great character to the hotel. Lovely restaurant, open log fires. Bedrooms are small but quaint.Staff are really friendly and helpful.

We were doing to dinner here and decided that if we stayed we could have a little wine too and relax knowing we didnt have to drive further. Also, this place does not take bookings in its restaurant preferring to opperate on a first come first served basis. If staying though they will keep you a table. Their reputation for... More
