Very nice couple, offered us a ride to the train in the AM. Lots of room to settle in. Clean and comfortable. Choice of breakfast and well prepared. Very happy with our stay. Reasonably priced and highly recommend.

My husband, 2 daughters and I stayed here last summer and found it quite agreeable to our taste. The house is older and charming, just the kind of place we like to stay when traveling. Our hosts were accomodating, fixing us delicious breakfasts and pointing out places of interest in Howth. We will definitely be back!

My wife Dyan (with our daughter Caitlin and her husband Kevin) stayed two nights here in September. Our hosts were very gracious, with many suggestions for what to see and do in Howth. Mick let us check in early, and even drove us twice to the DART station during the bus strike. Breakfasts were excellent and well-prepared. We chose Highfield based on TripAdvisor reviews. I think some of the comments were too negative. This is not a five-star hotel. It has its quirks, which we happen to enjoy when traveling. But it was clean, comfortable and much fun, at a fraction of the cost of staying in Dublin, which is less than a half-hour away by DART. This was our second trip to Howth, which is a very nice place to spend at least a day. O'Connell's Restaurant on the waterfront is a fine place to enjoy fresh seafood and a pint or two. Richard

Wonderful hosts and welcomed with a smile. Room was quite large for a B&B and bathroom large and fine. Breakfast excellent and room quiet. I don't know what some reviewers were expecting but for a B&B this close to Dublin and in such a location, the price and facilities were great. One can't expect more. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
