The standard of the room was high as the hotel is priced very competitively for one in the centre of a town. It was spotless. It was however noisy as we were overlooking the Main Street and the weather was hot so had to sleep with the windows open. Wi-Fi not great and I was a little disappointed with the... More

This bar/restaurant is amazing. Staff and food is so nice and also good price for portion. Unfortunately the hotel is not the same, it is in need of refurbishing. The cleanliness is okay and the beds are comfy. Reception is a very long process as they don't have anyone permanently there so you have to wait a good 10-15 mins... More

Tuam is a quiet town between Galway and Westport. We went there for the October Bank holiday weekend as a family, with a 2 year old son. The hotel was easy to find, the parking was perfect (located in the back yard of the hotel). Check in went really fast and the girl was really helpful answering all the stupid... More

This was really good value for money. The breakfast was tasty and generous . The staff very polite and helpful and the bar warm and cosy with a good atmosphere. The only reason I haven't given it 5 was that the two rooms we had, especially my sisters were not really warm enough. Don't let it put you off though because... More

I have to say after reading one of these reviews I taught this hotel must be Faulty Towers. However it was the complete opposite. The room was spotless, The Bar was nice and clean and there was a nice atmosphere around the place. The staff where extremely helpful and friendly. The Breakfast was really nice (juice, choice of cereal, and... More

Absolutely terrible place to stay could not recommend it less, unfriendly, unhelpful staff, and low standard of hygiene! Parking facilities are also terrible! We stayed there New Year's Eve went down to the bar New Years morning for breakfast when on return to the room after breakfast overheard two members of staff discussing my partners weight saying "is he that... Cheap room rate and room was spacious. Had to wait a while to try get into hotel and ended up having to go in through the bar, then after waiting another 10 minutes had to go into restaurant to ask someone to check me in. Tv only had 3 channels. Heat was turned off in the evening so room was... More

Stayed for 1 night recently for a funeral, we were a large group and we were accommodated well. Rooms were clean but I seemed to yet again be near a fan or generator.Staff very friendly and for €70 for a room with breakfast it was excellent value. The location is a big plus for this hotel and they have parking available.
