Whoever named this place Serenity knew what they were talking about. A more beautiful and peaceful place would be hard to imagine. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with an absolutely stunning view of Benbulben and Drumcliffe Bay. Lovely breakfast room and delicious breakfast Brendan and Elizabeth made us feel very much at home and Brendan gave us some... More

Though it may feel slightly off the beaten track, its worth it. The rooms are beautifully furnished, the view is gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. The highlight for me was the owner's husband whose a great storyteller and a hidden gem of sligo in his own right, who gave us some great tips for sight seeing, (they actually gave... More

A sweet small room with pleasant light and a very fine shower. Warm welcome from both Elizabeth and her husband. Very homey and comfortable. Bright breakfast room with a lovely room for our final morning in Ireland.

This was a beautifully decorated and very clean B&B. Amazing views of the Drumcliffe Bay and Benbulben. Elizabeth prepared us a great breakfast. Brendan provided us with several good suggestions for sightseeing and hiking (Knocknarea and Carrowmore Tombs). We highly recommended this home.

Elizabeth and Brendan were warm friendly hosts. Brendan offered extremely helpful tourist advise and Elizabeth provided an excellent breakfast in a divine setting. The accommodation was second to none. We highly recommend this fantastic B & B which was one of the highlights of our month in Ireland.

The views were great, but for 75 euros the night you would expect something better. The breakfast was just average and we had that feeling when they don't trust you. We went for dinner in Sligo town and we left the car there and took a taxi (14 euros for 4 km) back to the B&B. We forgot the room... More

We didn't want to leave Brendan and Elizabeth's alluring home and this we knew just sitting in the car when we arrived. Their home and gardens and the dazzling views all around made magic and the birdsong in the wind beguiled with ancient incantation. Meeting them was like meeting kindhearted friends after years spent apart; the connection was immediate and... More

We have traveled many times throughout Ireland... not only for it's beautiful scenery and rich history, but also to meet and mingle with the people. Everything comes to together here at the Serenity B&B. The Gardens are gorgeous, the views stunning, and the warmth and hospitality of Brendan and Elizabeth unsurpassed. If you are looking for an oasis, a place... More

Excellent location. Owners maintain the place in immaculate condition. Arrived late afternoon and they treated us to some tea and biscuits and shared there tips for attractions in the area. Breakfast was great and rooms are well kept.

My wife and I arrived in the Sligo, only to be disappointed with the hotel we had a reservation for. We drove around and landed at Serenity B&B. it has a stunning spot (looking out over Benbulbin), and is soooo quiet. We loved it. As others have noted, Elisabeth and Brendan are fantastic hosts. Brendan planned a lovely journey for... More
