This is a fantastic B&B with a wonderful host! Margaret's knowledge of the "must see" places in the area and her fabulous breakfasts make this the place to stay. I stayed here in August and Sept 2016, first with my niece and the second time with Artists I was guiding on a painting trip in Ireland. The beds are comfortable,...

We spent our first two nights in Ireland here and it was the perfect way to get our vacation started. I spoke to Margaret in advance of our stay as my wife has multiple food allergies we have to deal with. She actually ordered all the fresh ingredients we needed for the breakfast my wife could eat, custom prepared and...

A lovely little B&B run just like a family. We arrived and it felt like coming home. The rooms are on the larger side and are lovely decorated. You really think that you are part of the family. What really came as a surprise was the breakfast. I couldn't believe the effort they put into serving it. I love'd it...

This is a quaint BNB in Callan. If you are driving to/through the area you will be fine. If not, you may need to walk into town (20-30 mins) or hire a taxi to get you around. The owner sometimes can collect you in town from the bus, but that is not guaranteed (as I'm sure you understand.)

My parents stayed here for two nights for the Rod Stewart concert last month. They couldn't speak highly enough of the premises and the hosts Margaret and Seamus, who were very friendly and couldn't do enough for them. B&B was spotless, breakfast was 10/10 (esp the homemade scones), delicious selection of homemade breads and fruit. Breakfast menu was plentiful and...

Only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. Margaret is an experienced and very welcoming host with loads of suggestions for eating places and things to see. The range of breakfast options was very good. We loved the pancakes. Good to stay in the country but close enough to drive to Kilkenny for sightseeing and dinner.
