This is a must stay in B&B! It is a gracious Georgian house and farm that is extremely comfortable, beautiful, with inviting rooms, a great breakfast, amazing grounds and full of history. We, a family of 4, stayed here for a night in the Tower Room, and it was lovely! The atmosphere is great, and very friendly!

Ballyduff House is a wonderful place. Decorated with the utmostvattenrion to detail, without being overstyled or overpolished. Breed is a nice host, with great stories about the way her children grew up in and around the house. The rooms are very spacious, yet homely and so are the bathrooms, with great bed- and bathlinnen. We felt very much at home.

We had a delightful stay at Ballyduff to begin our 30th anniversary trip. The B and B is gorgeous inside and out. We were greeted with a pot of tea, fresh strawberries and cookies. Our room was spacious and lovely and overlooked the river. Breakfast was delicious. We went on a walk after breakfast and discovered a "secret garden." I... More

Just been to my Brother-in-Law's wedding at Ballyduff House. First visit and can't wait to go back. Unfortunately, didn't get to overnight there but keen to remedy that. Beautiful house in beautiful rural location on the banks of River Nore. Wonderful host who will happily engage in conversation with you or happily leave you to your own devices - think... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Ballyduff House. We are a family of four including two teenage daughters. The home is lovely and the setting idyllic. Our hosts -- Bred and her dog Jack -- were truly inviting and gracious. They made us feel at home. Bred made sure we had whatever we needed, for example extra blankets... More

Stayed two nights in mid-May and had a wonderful experience and enjoyed touring the area. A few miles south of Thomastown along the River Nore, Ballyduff House is not hard to find if you follow the instructions on the Web Site; however, be warned, there is no sign at the front gate. (Hint: after making the last turn at Ballyduff... More

Our family of 3, spent a wonderful two nights at Ballyduff House last week. Bred's welcome, engaging conversation and care made us feel very much at home. The house and grounds are elegant, historic and full of intriguing character. Breakfasts were delicious in a charming dining room. Reading by the fire in the drawing room was also a pleasure and... We came to Ballyduff for a hen weekend and have to say we have the most wonderful time. The house is stunning and Bred is so hospitable. We rented the whole house and Bred provided extra beds to accommodate our group of seventeen. Beautiful location, clean beautiful bedrooms and lovely continental breakfast every morning. The weekend was a hit from... More
