The location is fantastic looking out at Schull Harbour . Mizen Head is nearby and was within a short drive away .Staff were excellent and always available to respond to any needs . Rooms were extremely clean . Meals were excellent.

Maybe I should give this a 5 rating but I felt it was quite expensive when I stayed. That said, it is a lovely hotel. Very comfortable and attractive rooms. Ours had a view over the sea which was beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is ideal. It is in town. A short walk to pub or harbour and a good base for touring. Free car parking directly across the road. Not sure if this would fill up in high season. The food in the bar was really tasty and the atmosphere is compelling. An excellent hotel on all counts.

What a great experience. The staff were extremely pleasant and very efficient. Bedroom was pristine, with a super king bed which was very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was super and the service exceptional. The pool and leisure centre is a big plus. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were engaging, accommodating and went far beyond the standard job description (finding a lost jumper). Room was above-average clean and beds were comfortable. Swimming pool was clean and well maintained. A well prepared hot breakfast. Everyone seemed to be making an effort and it really showed in the atmosphere and function of the entire place.

My 2 friends and I stayed on 20th and 21st June 2022. We had a harbour view room. It was very spacious and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, I am very tall, so I often have issues with the length of the beds. The breakfasts were brilliant, something for everyone. However, I would not recommend the evening meal, the food was very poor, I'd say it was the waiters first evening, he hadn't a clue. The receptionist was extremley helpful. I would highly recommend Schull Harbour Hotel. Thank you.

this could be a fantastic hotel with couple of tweaks here and there.. plus side..sea view comfortable quality bed fan in room Great staff and great breakfast although missing Irish white pudding for my husband. minus points. 1 small body wash and shampoo in room for 2 persons bit stingy as paying €200 euros per night other hotels provided bottle of water in the room and tissues.. coffee machine was hopeless for making tea..ugh although we loved Schull and would stay again

Excellent staff and service! Food in the bar was delicious, great breakfast selection and the location is ideal for exploring West Cork. Don't think we've ever stayed in a hotel where ALL the staff are so friendly and helpful. Not one negative experience.

Stayed in this hotel before lovely experience. This time we stayed in one of the apartments ( apartment 5) from the 11 to the 14 of August . Unfortunately the shower didn't work for our 4 day stay The girl in reception was very nice and helpful offering a vacant room to shower and the leasure centre showers for the rest of our stay. Not ideal. Had dinner in the hotel unusual selection maybe not to every ones taste, but some very good restaurants in the area. I would go back to the hotel

The good news is that the apartment was very bit and was in a great location. However I had booked the apartment the year before when leaving the hotel but I was changed €140 more when I arrived this year over the price we had agreed. I asked to speak to the manager but he never materialized. the apartment is big but basically kitted out and with sparsely furnished. The beds were also not comfortable. there was also a hole in the wall of the 2nd bedroom and it could really do with a paint job. The pool was nice and staff were friendly.

Stayed for one night. Have previously stayed in the hotel. It has been recently refurbished and looks great. Room was lovely however disappointed to find used towel in the bathroom & a dirty toilet. Reception notified & they kindly offered a bottle of Prosecco to the room. On arrival we were asked to book a breakfast time slot. Breakfast is served up to 11am with the Last available time slot being 10.30am. We choose this time slot. On arrival to breakfast we were advised to help ourselves to the buffet section. Unfortunately it was empty. No fruit, yougurt, OJ, cereal trays empty, pastry tray empty & just a few ends of cheese/cold meat left. We requested some fruit/yougurt as we ordered cooked breakfast. The empty containers on the buffet were removed but never replaced. On a positive note the cooked breakfast was excellent. On checkout we asked that the general manager be advised of our experience. We were not offered to opportunity to speak with a manager. The hotel has the potential to be great but the attention to detail is lacking. If breakfast is included & served up to 11am the buffet needs to be replenished accordingly.…
