Our last visit to Castlemartyr was 2019, just before Covid. The renovations and improvements carried out in the interim have significantly enhanced the guest experience. No withstanding that, a number of the original staff remain, and they retain a genuine interest in looking after their guests. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely drive through the grounds up to the hotel, and a beautiful lobby on arrival. Rooms were spacious and very well presented. I needed to work while I was there and this was helped by strong wi-fi and a spacious desk & work area in the room. Staff were great with our kids, particularly in the Canopy restaurant. All bars were warm & comfortable, and Knight's bar was particularly cosy. We also spent an evening in the Hunted Hog, which was lovely - and the courtesy car was a nice touch. Coming from Leinster, being able to get a decent pint of Murphys was a nice treat! Overall a wonderful stay, looking forward to the return visit.

This was our second trip here, we stayed in the lodges which are dog friendly . You have access to the hotel facilities which are terrific , the pool is gorgeous overlooking the gardens and our kids said the gym was well equipped and also overlooking the pool and gardens . We have stayed before in the summer with our grandson and the kids club was great although at a cost it was well worth it , there are bikes to use although they could do with a few kids sized ones . We haven’t eaten in the hotel as the menus looked expensive but the hotels bar in the village is reasonable and you are only a few miles from Middleton . There is a golf course although for its size it expensive to play with no discount for guests of the resort. This is a beautiful place for a break away with family and the lodges are spacious and modern .

Spent one night here with three family members and it was truly a most lovely experience. From the money we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff were so friendly yet low key. The rooms were luxurious. The grounds were inviting, despite Storm Kathleen, we managed a lovely walk with many interesting features. A real gem of a getaway to reconnect and recharge.

Thoroughly enjoyed our break away. Although we have visited before, it was our first time with a toddler. The bedroom room options, Easter activities, swimming pool and children’s menu in the Canopy restaurant made our family trip a great success.

We were wow’d from arrival with the friendly warm welcome and service. Our room was so lovely and grounds beautiful to explore. We treated ourselves to the Terre experience and were blown away. Only thing to improve is that the air conditioning was not cold enough and was quite warm when trying to sleep. Despite that we want to come back ❤️

Hi we had a great stay thanks. Kids loved it, loads to do kids club was great kids went every day. Pool great and open all day. We both had massages in spa that were amazing. Menu could be better. Kids eat mostly pre made goujons and chips for dinner and lunch for 5 days. Asked for vegetables in the golf club house one evening to be told ‘we have no vegetables’. Other than that great spot.

Staff, food, rooms were all fantastic . No complaints here, money well spent, had a great holiday with our 4 month old baby, and our chihuahua. Stayed in a garden deluxe room which was pet friendly with its wooden floors, the room was delightful and super spacious. There were lots of families staying in the hotel so having a crying baby (some of the time) did not feel uncomfortable. The set up for our dog was great, bed, treats and a little canine tag left in the room for us, and the room also had a small patio so we could let him out in the evening for relief.
