Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Staff friendly and worked extremely hard , with nothing being to much bother .m We had a beautiful room (no5) , with an amazing balcony .it was so interesting watching all the comings and goings of the boats and was wonderful to wake up to cruise liners outside the door. Only criticism was that... More

Stayed here for two nights this week with my cousin. We were delighted with our visit. We had a room overlooking the harbour which was super took us all our time to leave the room as there was so much activity on the water to watch. Hotel was clean and the room was a great size. My biggest compliment though... More

Booked 6 rooms for one night in this hotel for a family occasion. Staff were brilliant, rooms were clean and tidy. Receptionist was pleasant on arrival and departure. Rooms were sufficiently furnished in classic colours. Food was delicious. Wished we could have stayed a second night!!!

We stayed at the Waterside for one night when touring Ireland. Slightly annoying that car parking was not available when we got there but it was sorted reasonably quickly. I think that guest spaces should be reserved for their arrival - it would be a nice touch. The room had a balcony up to the water which was really pleasant.... More

Dear Phil, Many thanks for your positive review of the hotel. unfortunately as space under the hotel is limited we can not guarantee parking to anybody but i am glad that you did in the end get a space. Myself and my partner stayed here for one night, the rooms are fairly small and were really hot which we had to keep the windows open the whole time. The radiator was on and we couldn't turn it off 👎 We went downstairs for a drink in the bar(very small also) before we took a seat my partner asked the... More

Dear guest, thank you for reviewing us. It is a pity that you think that our bedrooms are small as they are in fact big enough to qualify for a four star rating even though we operate as a three star. Regarding the the towel rail in the bathroom we could of turned this off for you if you had... More

Stayed here for one night. Very welcoming staff both at reception and the bar. Room was beautiful. Double bed and a single bed. Loads of room and very comfortable. Requested a quiet room and got a lovely room overlooking the river with stunning views. Breakfast was relaxed and good selection of food. Woke up to see a cruise liner outside... More

I was recently fortunate enough to spend a few night in the excellent Hotel. Rooms where brilliant, Staff excellent, and the food was superb. Our room looked straight out over the estuary with all it's comings and goings so never a board moment. Very well located to get into Cork and visit the local attractions.

Spent two nights here, too much time in Cobh if the weather is not good. Easy walk from train station, adequate breakfast, room was clean and in good order, fairly quiet. Dinner good at the restaurant, but nothing special. Nothing against this hotel, but we would have preferred to stay in Kinsale, but picked Cobh due to rail connection.

Stayed here 1 night as a result of cruise travel delay. Recommended by cruise line and definitely the right choice.
