Stayed here for a 3 night family break. I booked a two bedroom suite. It was cleanish, although due to the design of the radiators there are items of clothing stuffed down behind them which seem are hard to retrieve!! On arrival we were told our room wasn't ready, no big deal as we arrived an hour before our designated... More

First impressions were that this hotel was a busy spot, with a very busy lobby, however, there were three receptionists on duty and check in was quick and painless. The receptionist was very friendly and described how to navigate the confusing layout of the hotel which made finding our room easy. The car park in under ground, but the spaces... More

Right from booking the hotel, the staff were friendly and approachable. We had booked a family room, which as standard was a suite. There was a sitting room, with a sofa bed and a main bedroom and bathroom. The suite was perfect and had lots of space which our 2 year old loved as she could run around it and... More

We were visiting Bantry for the West Cork Literary Festival and we picked the hotel for it's views over Bantry Bay and the spacious rooms (pretty good value). I would say the hotel decor is a bit tired in places BUT it is very clean and comfortable, with lovely staff throughout. We booked a one-bedroomed suite, which had a decent... More

Lovely stay in Bantry for 2 nights, very spacious and clean rooms, nicely decorated with nice towels etc and leisure facilities great Had the added bonus of comedy by Jason Byrne on the Sunday night which was really good Bar food is only ok, plenty of staff on but they didn't really seem to be very organised or weren't aware... I had never heard of this hotel before & was so surprised to walk into a beautifully decorated lobby with very friendly efficient staff. We walked into our room & it was sophiscated, chique and so comfortable with an unexpected bonus of a balcony. The bathroom had a wonderful big shower plus a bath. The decor in the room is so tastefully... More

This hotel has an imposing facade when viewed from across Bantry Bay but inside is much more personal, made so by the friendly staff and interesting decor. The entrance to the car park is across the road from the hotel and easily missed. It actually felt like the car deck in a ship. Our room was well appointed and comfortable.... More

I planned on staying one night but ended staying three! My single ensuite bedroom had a gorgeous view overlooking Bantry Bay. The food was good but the service and attention paid to our company was excellent from the barman Liam who guaranteed our staying longer.

Of the four orders placed in the bar on a busy Wednesday night of the Literacy Festival, two were disappointed with the very hard and dry Bacon, lettuce and tomato toastie. The salad was smothered with mayonnaise. All in all a bit disappointing for a privet snack. The service was friendly and helpful, and the ambience was lovely.

Rooms nice but dark. Breakfast crowed, noisy with the sounds of dishes clanking. Menu offers pancakes made to order but waitstaff never came back after seating us. Eggs are serve yourself from under a heat lamp and must have been made at least 15 minutes earlier. Regretted wasting the time, money and opportunity to eat a good meal somewhere else.... More
