What a great find. Seamount Farmhouse is a little off the beaten track but well worth a visit. Julia and Charlie gave us a great welcome with freshly baked scones and pot of tea. Asking about where we could go to eat, Charlie drove us over the mountain to his local pub which served great food at reasonable prices. The... More

As per pretty much our entire road trip, we booked this B&B (which I found through happenstance on google maps) at the last minute and my Dad * I stayed in the twin room. The B&b/rooms were very clean; our room was small but not too small and the beds were warm and comfortable. The room decor is wonderful, not... More

Really enjoyed our stay in this B&B - no evening meal but that was no problem as Charlie gave us a lift to and from a nearby restaurant - Arundels ( which is a great restaurant) - Charlie drove really carefully and gave us a running commentary on all the local sites of interest. Breakfast was perfect - homemade scones... More

We spent two nights here on a walking tour of the Sheepshead Peninsula. Julia and Charlie went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We arrived to a steaming pot of tea and Julia's freshly baked scones, then our rooms were so bright and cheery -- such a treat at the end of a long hike! Charlie was... More

Julia and Charlie are the perfect hosts. We had a very warm welcome from them both and then served coffee and delicious home made scones. A perfect start to our stay. The location with views over the sea is idyllic, very quiet and perfect for exploring the Sheep Head's peninsula. Charlie gave us a good recommendation for a drive and... More

We had a wonderful stay at Seamount B'n'B. The rooms are lovely, very spacious and clean. The breakfast (continental and irish) is very good, including homemade bread and scones. The hosts are the kindest people and very helpful (thanks for the blister patches!). The garden is beautiful and you have a nice view on Bantry Bay.

We spent just one night at the Seamount B&B while hiking the Sheep's Head Way. Charlie and Julia were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They tended to our every need, as we arrived soaked from a day of hiking in the rain, and the food was just wonderful. I highly recommend this B&B!

We spent 3 nights at the lovely Seamount B&B at the end of our trip to Ireland and we were so sad to leave. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast is perfect - best scones we have ever had, but the hosts are the best part - welcoming and warm, always trying to make your stay better. The location of... Stayed here over the June bank holiday. The best welcome by Julia with a choice of 2 beautiful rooms. Julia treated us to tea and scones and gave great recommendation for dinner that night. Great choice for breakfast, so helpful and full of knowledge for local attractions. Beautiful views over Bantry Bay, very peaceful. Would 100% recommend was a pity... More

It was so perfect that it feels like home. The owners were beyond helpful and friendly. The views breathtaking. The breakfast fantastic. I will always remember it. The house and the room were spotlessly clean.Unforgettable!!!. Thank you Charly and Julia for sharing your house with us
