We were very warmly welcomed by Charly and Julia. We immediately were invited to have some tea and warm fresh baked scones by Julia. The rooms were extremly tidy with very comfortable beds. After some rest Charly drove us to the restaurant for dinner and picked us up later on. The breakfast was amazing with porridge and all sorts of... More

My wife and I stayed two nights at this lovely B&B where the hosts, Julia and Charlie McCathy, are the most welcoming and helpful couple you will find anywhere. Our room was spacious and immaculate, and Julia's breakfast offerings delicious and plentiful. Charlie was so generous with his time and auto, helping us to get to the right trailhead for... More

A great B&B experience. We extended our stay for a second night. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, quality breakfast and lovely rooms. Some rooms have a great sunset view. The B&B is located in a serene location

Julia and Charlie will give you a taste of real Irish hospitality, you may have to travel a bit in Ireland to experience some of the same genuine hospitality. If you want to get a real taste of Ireland you should stay here. The setting is amazing, the rooms spotless, the breakfast great and the welcome genuine.

We chose this B&B as the base for a walking and cycling holiday on the ruggedly beautiful Sheep's Head peninsula. Julia and Charlie were wonderful hosts, greeting us every afternoon with tea and scones. Breakfasts were delicious with home-made bread and jams, we had the use of a guest lounge with TV (which we preferred to having a small one... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the start of June. Both bedrooms booked were comfortable and spotlessly clean-but also very nicely decorated, with sea views from the windows (the rooms on the left side of the house have sea views). As stated in other reviews, Julia brought out scones and a large cafetiere of coffee on arrival, which was much... More

We had such a great welcome at Seamount. Julia's scones and soda bread were delicious and the breakfasts too. The rooms were lovely - with views over the sea. We were lucky to have had the most beautiful weather to appreciate the Sheepshead Peninsula and also most fortunate to have met and talked to Charlie and Julia.
