Ate here the other day with friends and I couldn't fault the food. I had fish and chips and a half portion of mussles. It was outstanding. Needless to say we all had clean plates afterwards. Would definitely be back

We did not stay in this hotel as we were staying with family and friends, so I cannot comment on the hotel and rooms. We had lunch here and also came in a couple of evenings for a few drinks to catch up with friends and family. The service and food were excellent. The staff were so friendly and very... More

We drove down this way to explore more of Ireland and found a lovely seaside town with a rich seafaring history. We went into the local Information Centre and received a lot of help from the volunteers behind the counter. The town is lovely and clean and people are friendly. We left and went on a even more scenic drive... More

Large clean rooms, fantastic restaurant, and bar on site. Many site seeing excursions within 45 minutes from hotel. Cork city, Blarney Stone. Located right downtown at the end on the bay. Excellent staff.

I attended a function in the Bantry Bay Hotel in September. The food was excellent and of superior quality, plenty of it and beautifully presented. The staff were all local, very professional and couldn’t do enough for you. The owner was also available to see that everything ran smoothly and made everyone very welcome. A rarity nowadays for the owner... More

We stayed here Saturday 21/9/13 the welcome at reception was fine, the breakfast was good. There was a brief mention that it could be a little noisy on a saturday. 12.30 am to 5 am there was endless shouting and cursing by people outside the hotel, leaving a club I believe. If you want to sleep on a saturday night ,avoid this... More

Dear BMW340, Thank you for your recent review of the Bantry Bay Hotel. While it is encouraging to note that you complimented certain aspects of your stay, clearly your visit was overshadowed by the disruption you experienced to your night's sleep. I apologise for this regrettable situation. We recognise the difficulties that exist in regards to street noise in the... More

The Bantry Bay Hotel is a pure joy to stay in. The location is heavenly - scenic but central. Everything you need is literally on your doorstep. They have lovely food and it's available all day. The service is incredibly friendly. Other restaurants abound in the area but the hotel restaurant excels in quality. The food is simple, wholesome and... More

Whilst the hotel room is clean and roomy, for the 80 euro charged - per night double room (incl breakfast) it is expensive and you wont receive much value - parking is in the street, WiFi not available in rooms and and a fair bit of outside noise (street facing room) and creaky stairs and ceiling. Have stayed in similar... More
