We ate lunch here during the week and it was lovely. Bagel was fresh and topped with chicken and cheese and served on a chopping board. Served with a side salad and chips. The chips lacked a bit of crunch so I left most of them as they weren't cooked enough. Staff were lovely.

Myself , my husband and my 2 kids aged 4 and 3 years old visited the West Cork Hotel for dinner one evening while on holidays in West Cork. The bar itself was lovely and comfortable. The staff were fine, they did their job but there was no real friendly welcome. I myself had the scampi with chips and salad... More

My husband and I stayed in the West Cork hotel from 27th July for 3 nights. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. We were happy with the room we were in which was large and airy. There was some building work going on at the hotel but it wasn't an issue. We ate dinner there the first night and... More

We stayed here for two nights recently. Overall we enjoyed the stay. The public areas are very well decorated and set out and the staff are very helpful. The breakfasts were good and the food in the evenings was good on the whole, though I would advise against choosing the 'chicken supreme' as it was a real disappointment. We were... More

On arrival we were told about the building works around the rooms - as if we couldnt see ! The room we were given was a disabled room, the bathroom was huge, cold and horrible and that was nothing compared to the water stained ceiling and walls in the bedroom - it was disgusting and our window just was a... Food is very very good. The downstairs lounge areas and restaurant are nice and modern and very comfortable. The staff are lovely. Rooms are very old interior and not at all appealing, unlike the photos may present differently. They are dusty and dated. Not what I was expecting. The location is not very good, right beside a main road and... More

Very happy I chose this hotel. The building might be old, but the rooms are fresh and comfortable, with modern fittings and furnishings. My bathroom was spotlessly clean and had a full-size bath, which was probably a bit ambitious for the available space. I had a street-side room, but noise wasn't a problem. Renovations are still proceeding, but again these... More

Well I ve stayed at this hotel a few times, it's old and quaint but very homely and friendly and the food is excellent ,and the atmosphere is very relaxed ,and there's a love river flows along side the hotel and it's nice to watch some of the wild life that swim there.
