Ferryview Country Home B&B is located on Reenard Point at the northern end of the Iveragh peninsula not far from the car ferry to Valentia Island. Our room at Ferryview was far and away the most spacious we had during our visit to Ireland. Large room, comfortable beds, luxurious en suite bathroom. Everything clean and well-appointed with a magnificent view... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Ferryview B and B. The home is nicely located on a quiet road just outside of Cahersiveen overlooking the water between Valentia island and the mainland. Mary and Jim were great hosts and looked after us well. The home is lovely, the room was large, and the bed very comfortable. Mary was... More

The rooms have sea-views and are super comfortable with carpeting, double-glazing and sloped ceilings. Waking up to view of the sea in the back and a forefront of greenery dotted with wild-flowers just makes one feel that the dreams are being seen with eyes wide-open. The location is ideal for exploring Valentia Island, the whole Ring of Kerry, even Dingle... More

Great base for cycling around the Ring of Kerry. We ended up staying a total of 3 nights at Ferryview. Mary and Jim looked after us very well and the bedroom was large and comfortable - easily the best B&B we stayed in while in Kerry!

A large quiet comfortable room. We were lucky to have the front room with a view of the Ferry and Valentia (when it was clear). Easy to get to and centrally located for County Kerry. As mentioned they take cash only though there were banks and ATM's in town 8 minutes away. Also town is 8 minutes by car so... More

Very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean bedroom and en suite bathroom with great view to Valentia Island. And this was capped with the wonderfully warm welcome from Mary and John. Delicious breakfast that set us up for the day. Nearby O'Neill's fish bar and restaurant is a must.Just 5 minutes walk. Michelin standard superb food at very reasonable prices.

We booked a quadruple room to stay for the weekend as we were going to do the landing trip to Skellig Michael on Sunday. I must say, it was one of the best experiences we've had in a Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Mary greeted us with a smile and a 'motherly' aura which was always good to see. She gave... More

We enjoyed our single overnight stay (we were based in Dublin- that will change next trip over, though) One thing, but pretty important: on their own website no mention, that we could find, it's a cash only business, though we did see this later on Trip Advisor. And seemed to be only on ATM close by. Less important, (again, on... More

We were lucky enough to book here on our family vacation in June. Traveling as a family of four, it was sometimes difficult to book a single room for all of us. We were lucky to find a delightful room at Ferryview--it was spacious, clean and well appointed with a beautiful view of the bay. Mary, our host, and her... More
