This is a great pub/hostel style accommodation to stay on the Ring of Kerry. The rooms are basic but very clean and great value for the price. The pub is cosy and staff very helpful and helped us plan the rest of our journey south. We ate dinner at a nearby Thai restaurant at the owners suggestion (the pub only... More

What more do you need other than a pub, nice food, great kitchen for breakfast and lovely bedrooms, all under one roof? Overlooking Dingle Bay it really is spectacular and great value. Jack and the staff are very welcoming. Caitin's is in the middle of nowhere on the side of a road, but that's the beauty. Perfect for swimming in... More

This place is in a lovely location looking out at the sea. we were lucky enough to get a room at the front with a sea view. The whole place is spotless. we were given our run of the kitchen where there was fruit, cereals, yogurts, bread etc. left available to us. We were able to pop down in the... More

We have just returned from Caitins and it was a highlight on our Wild Atlantic Way Road trip. The room was perfect and a generous continental breakfast was provided each morning. The kitchen and dining and lounge areas were warm and very comfortable. Jack is an outstanding host, exemplifying true Irish hospitality. I would highly recommend staying here to any... More

It's a nice pub with a bed and breakfast, despite of this, the rooms are very quiet, they are not too big but with great views of the sea and the Dingle Peninsula. The owner is very friendly and showed us around, the kitchen can be used any time and there is a continental buffet breakfast included. The pub is... More

Nice, comfortable, spotless rooms! Lovely bar, very friendly and helpful staff. They are very welcoming to walkers, and will provide an evening meal if requested. Kitchen facilities are available, basic essentials like bread and fruit are free to use. Overall, a great place to stay!

It has been nearly 5 years since I last had the pleasure of visiting Kells and staying at Caitins. I am delighted that the Hostel (closer to a hotel) has grown so more people can experience the Hospitality shown by Jack and the entire team. We were visiting with our 3 kids and stayed in one of the self contained... More

Beautiful area. Perfect stop over if doing the ring of Kerry as it has large clean en suite rooms over a pub which was not noisy at all that served food. Perfect way to get to know the locals and everyone was so friendly. Breakfast was self serve which was perfect for us as we could have what we liked... More

We were doing a bike tour of the Ring of Kerry and made a stop in Kells looking for a hostel. Upon finding Caitins the owner (Jack) was not around and we hadn't booked in advanced. Thankfully, a neighbour was able to phone Jack (we didn't have our own working phone with us), and he promptly drove down to check... More

Booked Caitins online direct (based on good Trip Advisor Reviews) with Jack who was so laid back right from the start. Was a bit worried that he would forget about us, when he said that no deposit/payment was required until we got there - needn't have worried though. We were in the two bed apartment which had great views over... More
