Stayed at the lodges for 3 nights. Well furnished and spacious with 2 ensuite rooms, also well heated. Only criticism is there was only 4 cups, 4 plates , 4 sets of cutlery etc and a large dishwasher. As we were self catering, wash up had to be done constantly as who would run a large dishwasher with just 4 place settings. ? Food and service in the bar was excellent however trying to get a coffee at the bar around 12.00 noon was frustrating. Nobody minds waiting if staff are busy but not even being acknowledged by the 2 staff members who were coming and going with coffees elsewhere is not good service. Hotel Manager came along eventually to save the day. Shuttle service back to lodges after dinner was much appreciated as the heavens had opened and we had come unprepared. Would return.

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed for 5nights, we could not fault the service, food or the hotel in any way. We enjoy every minute we spent there. The room was clean, warm & very comfortable. We went on all the walks around the grounds and loved the murder mystery walk in particular. There was always a Gluten Free option at every meal & it was always delicious. The staff looked after us very well and we always felt relaxed. We used the pool and jacuzzi every day. I have since I have been home recommended it to others.

Dear Fiona_Mor, Thank you so much for taking the time out to complete a review and share your thoughts with us. I was delighted to read that you had a wonderful time and seemed to enjoy all of the facilities including our new addition the Murder Mystery Trail. We are very lucky to be located in such a beautiful location surrounded by some of the most breath taking scenery by the famous Kenmare Bay. Thank you again and I look forward to welcoming you back in the hopefully not so distant future. Warmest Regards Karel Soudny Guest Relations Manager

Stayed at Parknasilla in September for our 40th wedding anniversary for the weekend. It was an incredible experience. Stayed in the Rossdohan Suite and it is so luxurious, we both slept so well and the view is incredible. On the Saturday I visited the Spa, and had a facial. I couldn't praise Caitlyn enough who was my spa therapist. Afterwards visited the Spa thermal suite, pool and outdoor hottubs and it was total bliss. Dinner on the Friday night in the Pymaglion was fantastic, the shank of lamb is delicious. The bar team aswell were so nice. Tim, Ankush and Goran in particular couldn't do enough for us. The walks are stunning too, in particular the herons walk, so tranquil and the views are stunning. We were really lucky with the weather but they was no place else I wanted to be. Will definitely be back soon.

Honeymoon stay that was very below standard. Highlighted unhappiness to staff but got no reply or confirmation that standards at the hotel would change. No air conditioning in the room when it was very hot outside and had to ask twice for a fan. Heat in the room was stifling! No space in the room to relax despite very expensive cost of hotel. Robotic staff. A very unpleasant experience.

Rooms very grand. The pool and fitness area are good but not excellent. The price of drinks €10.30 and €7.20 for a Hennessy brandy. The grounds are fantastic and the lodges a far better value than the hotel. RIP off Ireland comes to mind for the hotel but the lodges seem to be good valid

I stayed here for four nights recently and loved every minute of it. The hotel has massive charm, with roaring log fires and little chill out nooks. As you can see from the pics and other reviews, the grounds are truly spectacular, you could wander them all day. The food was excellent. The pool, sauna etc were all very pleasant and I also really appreciated that the bedroom had a radiator that you could easily turn up/down as I hate a too-hot room! But all that being said, the hands-down-exceptional thing that stands out for me is the staff. It's a cliche to say they made the entire experience a hundred times better but they truly were that lovely. They were smiley, chatty, helpful and cheerful at all times and I can only assume that the Parknasilla is a fair and decent employer to have so many good people there!! I'll definitely be back and I'll be recommending it to everyone I know.

Had dinner and stayed overnight in this wonderful hideaway. The hotel has that old world charm but with every modern convenience. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and the attention to detail. The staff are superb and there is a real sense that they are proud to look after their guests. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The room was spacious and very well appointed. We will be back. Anne & Mike Dowd

Honestly feel bad for giving 1 star but when you pay 6 euro for 2 scoops of mash and 6 for a side of chips you lost me . The food is not even that nice and they are charging absolutely disgusting prices for it . A lot of people who stay here money isint a problem but for the likes of us it is . Also the outdoor hot tub was out of order for all our stay with only one working there was noway of getting a space . I was talking to a women and she said it's been gone for over a week it's just not good enough when you are paying that much for a stay .

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review Parknasilla Resort & Spa. I'm sorry that your stay with us was not what you hoped for. I hope you can understand that our menu prices do compare to other hotels that would be in the same category as ourselves. I do however apologise that our hot tub was out of order during the time of your stay. This was a maintenance problem that has been resolved since. I hope in the future you may stay with us again and have a more enjoyable stay. Kind regards Simon Moore, Guest Relation's Manager
