We stayed at Fern Rock for two nights last week during a week long trip to Ireland. This was the favorite B&B of our vacation. Irma and John were kind and welcoming and their home was warm and cozy, beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water for our showers.. This property is out in the country situated directly between...

My husband and I stayed with Irma and John for about a week, while he was doing some hunting in County Kerry, and I was doing some touring. Irma is a fantastic hostess, and wonderful cook. She is a knowledgeable hostess with great perspective on all sorts of places, and knows everyone! We loved it here and hope to come...

Very friendly and helpful owner. Was nice to be offered advice on some of the places to go and things to see. The room was a little on the small side but was clean and the overall facilities were good. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of options available.

Good B&B and the owner is very nice . The room and bathroom are clean, bathroom is small but functional. It's a llitle bit far from any town, so you will need a car to get there. It's locateded near a golf park

This B&B was quite close to the Killorglin Golf Club where my husband and son played a round of golf. Everything was clean. The bathroom was small but functional. The husband of the house checked me in. Although he wasn't as outgoing as his wife, I did hear him trying to help a couple of ladies find an alternate B&B...

In Killorglin there was a booking mix up and we ended up staying in two b&bs rather than just one. Our first night was at Fern Rock and it was a pleasant surprise. This B&B is 3km out of town on the N70, the road to Tralee. What you lose in centrality is more than made up for by the...

Nice quiet B&B, and well located for your trip around the rink of Kerry. Hostess very helpful, and very good breakfast, including smoked salmon as an option. Beds good. We would stay here again. Good pub nearby.

We wanted to stay longer after being at Fernrock for two days. Irma provided good food, and a beautiful home to stay in. She also was of particular help with our search for local cemeteries in my genealogical search. Oh, and her bird feeder was a delightful addition to our breakfasts. I hope to return and would recommend with enthusiasm.

This is a lovely bed and breakfast. Irma is a very nice lady. Nothing was too much trouble. She made sure you had everything you needed. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend this.

I stayed here for one night this week and can't fault the B&B. From the warm welcome from Irma, the well appointed double room not to mention the beautiful smoked salmon breakfast, every thing was perfect. Would definitely return.
