We had booked interconnecting rooms for our two little ones , as is normal when we arrived the doors between the rooms were locked, as is not normal !!! One phone call and mere moments later another very friendly lady open said doors Off...

The room was comfortable and the staff was very attentive and friendly. We book the room for 3 nights but we decide to stay one more night and we got a discount and obviously the room was free that day.

Clifden Station House is a good 3 star hotel in the heart of Clifden, Connemara. The rooms are a little tired and could do with a facelift, however all that can be easily dismissed because the lovely staff make up for everything. The pool area is good and the steam room and sauna are good and hot- perfect for sore...

Friendly, efficient and gracious staff. Helpful from the start, an off duty employee helped us with our bags, the front desk was full of info about our surroundings, clean good sized rooms, great location for this cute town-just a few blocks from city center-pubs, shops and restaurants. Good breakfast and dinner. General manager, Anne Marie, was so kind and friendly---...

We stayed here for the first time with our four kids aged 3-8 years, I must say it is an exceptionally family friendly hotel, we enjoyed the two night break with evening meal, the food was very good, plenty of choices of meat and fish and lovely menu for children too.. the highlight for them was breakfast, with all the...

My only negative with this trip is having to leave sooner than we would like. From the first contact of calling to book, the service has been exceptional. We stayed in the self-catering apartments for 3 nights with two small children. It is FULLY equipped with anything you may need. The starter pack provided by the hotel is brilliant. The...

Every single staff member we met at Clifden Station House was very responsive and personable. This hotel is exceptionally kid-friendly and unique, due to its location in an old train station. We spent two night here with our kids, aged 4 and 7, and wish we could have stayed longer! Great food at two on-site restaurants, and lots of fun...
