We stayed here for four days Sept.9 2016 Coatesland b&b is great. The room was CLEAN ( I am so big on clean) and spacious. The food was so delicious and so much I had to tell Florence not to give me so much. You could not want more. There was everything from cheese to salmon. I can not tell... More

Top notch hospitality. Convenient off street parking, easy walk to the village, 5 star breakfast including perfect scrambled eggs and freshly made fruit salad. Selection of six cheeses and smoked salmon were also offered. The bedroom included fresh fruit, candy, biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities. There was also a water cooler outside of the room with filtered water.... More

My husband and I stayed here on our way back to Dublin. It was wonderful! The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside in the lounge chairs and read books upon arrival. That evening we walked to town and enjoyed dinner with live music following. The room was comfortable and breakfast was fantastic! Would definitely stop again!

My sister and I recently spent 2 weeks traveling through Ireland and Florence's B&B was the most wonderful experience of our trip (And this is saying a lot, as we experienced true Irish hospitality everywhere we visited). Florence is such an exceptional and kind person and staying in her home was such a pleasure, we did not want to leave!... More

Florence is a warm gracious hostess. After coming from a rather spartan colourless bnb, we were delighted to finally find a spotless room with everything and more that you could think of. These included a bedside light on each side of the bed, tea/coffee making facilities (including biscuits), fresh fruit, sweets, toiletries, first aid kit, wifi, and even a small... More

This B&B is located in the beautiful village of Adare, Ireland. The owner, Florence Hogan, is quite helpful in recommending sites to see and restaurants. Her assistant, Clare, helps every morning begin with a smile. The perfect place for exploring the Adare area.

Having read so many great reviews of Coatesland House before our stay, we were overall disappointed. The plus point was Florence's warm and inviting welcome and presence during our stay. Minus points for: - Blanket/sheets on the bed, instead of a duvet - Several hairs from previous guest(s) on the bathroom floor - Dirty towels in the bathroom - looked... More

I comfortable place with a friendly host ready to suggest things to see and do if you don't already have your trip all planned out. Nice room, great common room to relax in while reading or catching the Olympics before bed. A short walk from town and pubs for dinner and drinks or whatever you need.

Florence's B&B was the best one we stayed in during our trip down the west coast of Ireland. The house itself is lovely, very nicely furnished and decorated. Traditionally Irish! Rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. There is little bits and bobs around the room for guests to use: fruit, coffee, tea, soap, shampoo, etc. Breakfast is over the... More

My husband and I toured western Ireland on an amazing trip set up by Retroventures in Adare. We were set up to stay 2 nights at the Coatesland House. It is a lovely place! It has real local, unique charm and beauty. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Florence is a sweet hostess and... More
