A wonderful guest house, we had a delightful stay. Bernadette was lovely and very helpful with recommendations of things to do. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The location is within walking distance to the town centre and there is plenty of things to see and do.

After traveling Ireland for the last week, I have to say, this place was amazing. Bernadette was very kind and helpful, giving plenty of suggestions for things to do, and tips for the next part of our journey. The house was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. It has a beautiful garden in the back with a couple of friendly dogs.... More

Bernadette is a warm, lovely woman who has opened her home to travelers and sportsmen/women. There are a few rooms and a lot of hearty breakfasts to be had just under a kilometer from town center. Drop off the car and walk into town for a few pints.

Arriving in Ireland for our very first B&B experience was a wonderful delight as Bernadette welcomed us warmly. Her Carrabawn Guesthouse was immaculate, spacious and situated in a very peaceful setting. Bernadette's breakfasts were delicious. She also had good suggestions for entertainment while there and steered us to the local pub for a lovely evening of local musicians gathering for... More

We arrived without reservations and tired from the drive. She made us feel right at home immediately. We spoke about our always seeming to miss the pub with the local music and she told us where to go to for eating and then relaxation and all withing walking distance of her place...NO DRIVING! The pub with the music was NOT... More

Bernadette's warm and friendly personallity makes you feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment you say hello. Her advise on when to see certain items and directions were invaluable. Especially when to avoid certain areas due totourist bus times/days. Located within 1/2 hour of the airport. The city center is a 5 minute walk. Safe to walk at night. The... More

We had 3 nights at this guest house. It is very clean and cosy and welcoming. Bernadette could not be more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms simply decorated with comfy beds and bathrooms spotless. Shower a bit of a dribble but honestly it didn't matter. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Adare was our last stop before heading home, and this lady literally helped lug our heavy cases up the stairs! She was so sweet and funny, we ended up chatting with her for over an hour. She was great at directions, recommending sights, entertainment and restaurants for the evening. Breakfast was delicious!
