Booked this as we were going on a stag in Carrick on Shannon and were looking for a cheaper option. Good location, easy to find. Not walking distance to the town but the lady of the house dropped us into town and the taxi home was 11 euros between 4 of us. The rooms were spacious and comfy although the... More

Well maintained accommodation and decent breakfast. The initial enquiries and booking by telephone were not exactly of the thousand Irish welcomes though, sounded more like take it or leave it and don't really care if you do or dont. Would recommend to stay here but paid E79 and later realised was quoted E75. So nothing major but maybe friendliness could... More

This B&B is on the outskirts of Carrick-on-Shannon on the main road. For a Saturday night the road was not too busy so did not cause any issues with noise as we had to keep the window open all night - no air conditioning. The bed was extremely comfy however the room does need updating. The toilet and shower were... More

Stayed for a weekend, comfortable spacious bedroom, friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Outskirts of town although within walking distance but would recommend taxi if visiting pubs at night. (Plenty of music in pubs) Will definitely be back.

We were in a crunch the day before, looking for a place to stay on a Saturday night. I usually do the planning and booking, but this time my wife pitched in and found Aisleigh Guesthouse on Dublin Road.. It was a little farther out of town than I usually like to be, but at this stage, we were too... More

Arrived to Ashliegh house after a few hours of travel to be told by the owner that she gave away our room as she got a better offer earlier that evening as the town was sold out! This room was booked 3 months in advance and it was New years eve!! it was disgraceful. Not even a email to try... More

Lovely stay, impeccably clean rooms, friendly management, and a very good breakfast. Location was a little further out than originally anticipated (minimum 5 minute drive from town). Would certainly stay again.

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding in the Landmark Hotel. We were met with a lovely welcome by the owners who brought us up to our room. This was a lovely room and really warm. This was a great place to stay if visiting Carrick On Shannon or going to a wedding like we were. The... More

Stayed for one night, very comfortable room and I enjoyed a great sleep. Wi-Fi in my room was problematic but it worked elsewhere and indeed in the corridor outside my room. The owner/manager was apologetic and explained that she was attempting to have the problem resolved. I hadn't booked breakfast but nonetheless a gluten free breakfast would have been no... More
