Visited this lovely hotel twice during our visit to Carrick on Shannon. We enjoyed Sunday lunch which was delicious. Staff were courteous and very professional. Later in the week we visited for dinner. Good menu choices, reasonably priced for this type of hotel.
This hotel sits in a prominent place right next to the town centre, facing the river Shannon, and is therefore a busy place. This didn't stop the staff from being very friendly and displaying a calm discretion that would be expected in the most upmarket places. The room was warmly decorated and comfortable, with good beds and all small facilities available and well presented. Despite having visited during the busy Carrick Carnival weekend, the place was fairly quiet and we enjoyed a very good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide tasty choice from a great menu, along with a self-service bar that was wanting for nothing, in a large and busy but also comfortable dining room: we could have easily spent two hours enjoying it...
A very nice hotel for weekend stay. It was clean and fresh. Very quiet during the night time. . Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast had a good selection. Staff very professional and attentive and well trained. Rate was very reasonable for B&B. A positive experience.
We stayed 2 nights in the beautiful Landmark Hotel. Food was delicious from start to finish. Bedroom was perfect. Lovely view of the river and boats from bedroom. All staff were excellent. Gorgeous bar that serves delicious food. We dined in the restaurant and the beef was cooked to perfection. Beautiful breakfast room. We got full irish and it was perfect. Again I'll mention the staff as they are all pleasant and so helpful. We luck forward to returning as it's such a fabulous hotel.
Hi we've just returned from celebrating my husbands 60th birthday in the Landmark. The Hotel was very clean and upmarket. Staff were lovely , very kind and also professional. Food was excellent. Hotel is child friendly. They really made it a special weekend for us. Thank you to you all.
Was on this Hotel on a Seniors Deal A 4 course evening meal included--plus 2 breakfasts--and a scone and coffee Great value for money. The 4 course meal was of a high standard--bar one issue--see below. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful and tasty. A filling Irish Breakfast The dinner service was of high standard--except for the brioche roll served with the parfait. The bun was minute. I asked a water for more bread.None arrived. I asked another waiter. It appeared very fast Reception staff excellent--especially the guy with the North American accent Rooms were clean if a bit tired Hotel in a great setting overlooking The River Shannon Free car parking
Lads weekend in Carrick on Shannon. We had a 3 course meal on Sat night which was top notch and breakfast was delicious the following morning. Hotel is bright & clean & fabulous. The staff were fantastic. Top service with great work ethic & attitude. Haven't had service like that in years. They must be very well managed. Room was warm, cozy & a very comfy bed & shower. We will be back for sure
5 star food We had a beautiful meal, absolutely 5 star. Everything perfect, service also brilliant! Steak, chicken liver parfait, and desserts brilliant. Well done all, can’t wait to come back. The menu has such a selection also, hard to choose what to eat!
A warm friendly check in , always a great way to start a 24hr break. Our room was spacious, spotless, warm and with a great view of the river, what more could a person want. The Boardwalk restaurant was outstanding, from the superb food to the cool decor. But what impressed me the most in The Landmark was its staff. A young team that not only looked smart but acted so professional .The restaurant worked like a well oiled machine, every part working together a joy to watch . Training must play a big part in your hotel and it certainly shows so well done to all concerned. We had a chilled out enjoyable 24hrs and will be back to repeat our experience. Oh loved the Ducks on the wall, great artwork
I attended a hen party at the landmark a few weeks ago and what can I say but wow. When we first went in to the ballroom where there seemed to be a few other groups also I was impressed with how good everything looks. The food for the evening was of an excellent standard I cannot fault the chef. The girls serving our table were lovely and one of the other servers Kevin couldn’t do enough for our tables. He’s an asset to the hotel and a lovely lad. Whole atmosphere in the ballroom was very lively, I would definitely revisit the hotel again
