We had a great stay in Long Quay house for two nights in July. The owner is lovely and really attentive, was happy to help in anyway. He also has everything in place in terms of Covid guidelines to make guests feel comfortable. The location is brilliant, right in the town centre. Our room was nice size, extremely clean and v quiet. The shower in the bathroom was nice and powerful which makes a difference in the Irish weather. The breakfast was super, as was the coffee and set us up nicely for the day ahead. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Kinsale is a beautiful city to visit and this small hotel is located in the center of the city within walking distance of many attractions. The breakfast was amazing! The hotel is family-run and the rooms are unique and very comfortable. We felt as if we were staying in someone's home.
We arrived at Long Quay House after an overnight flight from the US and a long drive from Dublin. Parking was easy in the lot across the street and we were warmly welcomed. The owner, Peter, brought our bags up one flight of stairs and showed us into our spacious and nicely-appointed room. Our room overlooked the main street and the harbor with large windows. Very nice! Peter helped us with reservations for two nights dining as well. In the mornings we enjoyed delicious full breakfasts. We were so pleased that the plates were warmed (hot!) to keep our eggs nice and warm while we eat. A special touch that we appreciated as scrambled eggs get cold so quickly. We highly recommend Long Quay House.
This place is perfect if you when you are visiting Kinsale. Right in the heart of town for easy walking to everything and with beautiful water views depending on the suite you book. The house is beautifully maintained and Peter and Rasa were warm and easy to like immediately. The breakfast included with your stay is delicious... particularly Rasa’s homemade jam! I strongly recommend you give this place a try!
My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at this charming B&B Inn during our 15 night tour of the coast of Ireland. This place was amazing. The house is very well located; the room was exceptionally clean; the breakfast was delicious (especially the homemade jam) and the host was welcoming, available and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this house.
