Big clean rooms. Views are great! Huge tub! Love that the rooms have a small coffee bar. Albeit instant, still good before breakfast starts at 8. Love room 15, in back corner of the house. Looks over at the old head golf course. Small balcony off the room, nice touch!

This was my best stay in Ireland among rest of the places for the week! Mary and Jimmy are great hosts! The room was fabulous, clean and what a perfect view. I am glad not a lot of people know about this place, saves from the rush that this property can attract for the views it has of the sea... More

My wife and I stayed here on our way from Cashel to Killarney. We loved the quiet and beautiful setting as an escape from the bustle of Kinsale. Our host, Mary, was helpful, informative, and made our stay quite comfortable. Excellent full Irish breakfast. We enjoyed watching the surfers on the beach. Kinsale is 15 minutes (10km) away. Comfortable sitting... More

Stayed here for two nights with my mum and her partner as he was doing the local swimming competition. Mary couldn't have been a better host, always so friendly and welcoming! The room was lovely. Big windows with amazing views. A balcony with seating. Nice decor. Lots of lighting. And needless to say very clean and tidy. The breakfast was... More

My Husband and I stayed at this B&B while on our Honeymoon. We didn't realize exactly how far away it was from Kinsale. It's a little bit of a drive. But it was totally worth it. The view was amazing. We had a room that faced the water with panoramic views. It was beautiful to wake up to! We loved... More

Lovely B&B with amazing views of the ocean. Room was a little on the small side but it was very reasonably priced so we were very happy. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast finishes quite early-at 9:45. It didn't bother us as we would be up early anyway but may not suit everyone. Breakfast was nice. Buffet was standard enough... More

Jimmy and Mary have a gem of a little hotel overlooking the ocean outside of Kinsale. They are charming helpful people. Breakfast was delicious, the view is beautiful and Jimmy knows how to tap a good Irish brew.

Mary and Jim are excellent hosts. Accomodation exceeded expectations, Breakfast - first class, will be back. The accommodation would leave many hotels standing in terms of size. Nothing was left out, there was even a fridge and microwave available.

We spent 3 terrific nights at Blue Horizon and loved every minute of it. The rooms were modern and clean with a very comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Easy walk to beach and short drive into town. Mary and Jimmy were great fun to chat with. Great breakfast too!
