Chrissy Quigley is a charm and should be considered a National Treasure. She is so gracious and truly cares about her guests. Our 3rd floor room, The Bandon, was bright, clean and very well equipped with soaps, the best hair dryer and a very comfortable bed. No issues whatsoever.

An amazing stay with Chris. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were in awe of her. I don't think I've ever felt so at home in my life. Breakfast was great, had the Irish fry and loved it. I couldn't recommend this place more, stay here.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay and had a fantastic time enjoying the superb hospitality and delicious breakfasts, cooked by the delightful and friendly Chrissie. The choice at breakfast was huge with something to suit all tastes. The bedrooms are nicely appointed with period furniture and very comfortable beds. Restaurants, shops and pubs are within easy walking... More

Chris is a lovely old woman (but really young on mind) so cool and fun. We spoke one jour with her on our arrival anf she truly is a sports fan. The bedrooms are really nice, comfortable. Same things for the bathrooms. But the best is to come: the breakfast was amazing (fruits juices, fruits like raspberryies, blackberries, rhubarb, fruits... More

My husband and I brought two other couples on a tour of "Our favorite places in Ireland" and our first stop was Kinsale. We only had one night at The Olde Bakery but everyone wished we had more. The couples we went with don't talk about Kinsale, even though it is a wonderful place, they talk about their magnificent time... More

We stayed with Chrissy and her charming daughter Sinead. The Olde Bakery is in a great location, away from the noise but close enough that we could easily walk into town. But what really made this place for us was Chrissy. She is simply charming. The breakfast was great, our room was very nice, but again our hosts made this... More

Amazing hostess that treated us almost like her two french children! She is a fascinating lady and made us feel home instantly. She gave us great advice regarding where to go, where to park, where to eat... We had the most difficult time leaving her, her neverending breakfast (i blame her delicious scones!!), and this coulourful olde bakery.

Our room was on the second floor of the lovely older couples home. The room had a bathroom attached. There were several other guest staying in the other rooms we never heard or saw them. The next morning we had a huge breakfast with lots of variety.

Chrissie was a wonderful host in this cute B&B in the center of Kinsale, right near the water. So helpful and accommodating with suggestions of things to do in town, providing me with an adapter since I had forgotten mine, even offering to dry my clothes after an afternoon rain. A fabulous, extensive breakfast with smoked salmon eggs and toast... More

If you're picking a place to stay that feels like home this is the perfect choice. We stayed here with our two teenage boys. The location and rooms were great. Everything was a short walk from here. Kris and Tom are wonderful hosts with a wealth of ideas on attractions, walks and restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful both for the... More
