We stayed here for two nights of the June Bank Holiday weekend. It was a last minute booking and we didn't realise it was a Bank Holiday weekend. At 200 euro a night it was considerably above our usual budget but were happy to book as we had been promised luxury. The room was small and at the back of... More

I stayed here a few nights ago and was very happy with the room! We stayed in room 10 and the decor was lovely. With a great view over the town and part of the bay. We slept with the window open and although we got disturbed a few times this is to be expected from such a vibrant town.... More

Decided to return to The Old Bank House after not being there since last year and wanted to see was it as good as last time.! It was better ! Clearly from the minute we entered we could see that a lot of money has been spent in upgrading the entrance hallway and stairwell . Luxury new carpets on the... More

I was here for coffee and cake last year and had a lovely experience; had been looking forward to going back and having some food. First of all, our waitress was not very nice; it seemed that wat ever we asked for was an inconvenience.. Not friendly at all. I did notice that there were other staff members who seemed... More

This hotel was a bit different from what we are used to and I'll take that into consideration here. The location was spot on in the middle of town. You can easily walk anywhere. Our room was on the front/street side so with windows open (no A/C) the noise was a big factor! LOUD enthusiastic singing from late pub goers... More

We had room 7 which was toward the back of the hotel and somewhat bigger then others I noticed. Being at the back was probably some what quieter also. The room was a tiny touch worn but was clean and lovely.

My sister and I and our partners spent a weekend here and unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. Kinsale is a magical place, a food lovers paradise and I have always loved it and it is always a good idea to try and stay centrally if at all possible. This hotel is a very old building and so it... We stayed for 2 nights at the end of May and had a great time! We arrived at the Old Bank House having had little sleep due to travelling. We had called ahead to ask whether there was any chance of an early check in and as the room was free we were able to do this at no extra... More

Located right in the centre of Kinsale we were able to walk to our favourite restaurants - Max's and Man Friday and also our favourite watering hole - The Spaniard. The very helpful staff at The Bank House are a great asset to the establishment. This is an old, though well renovated, building which may nor suit everyone. Good Wi-Fi... More
