The Trident Hotel provides 75 beautifully modern guestrooms including an executive wing comprising 30 rooms and penthouse floor of 11 luxury suites. Best of all, every room provides breath-taking views of Kinsale’s harbour. Having a prime location that showcases its picturesque surroundings is wasted if you don’t have the people to ensure the experience is an unforgettable one. We’re proud to have a wonderful team of passionate individuals dedicated to ensuring your time with us is everything you want it to be. With a focus on service and exceeding expectations, we’ve built a reputation on delivering excellence in everything we do. However, it is the quality of food that comes from our kitchen that really sets us apart. Known as ‘The Gourmet Capital of Ireland’ and voted ‘Ireland’s Top Foodie Town’ in 2018, Kinsale is internationally renowned for its food. We’re delighted to be able to continue this tradition by offering the finest artisan creations, developed by leading chefs that use the best locally-sourced produce. As well as being a modern, luxurious hotel with incredible views of our unique surroundings, Trident Hotel Kinsale is also an ideal base to explore the sunny south-west of Ireland. Hotel's Favorite
Trident is by far our favourite place to stay in Kinsale. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to a suite which was such a treat as it was our anniversary. Beautiful views over the harbour with our own balcony. The room was so spacious with a separate seating area overlooking the water. Really tastefully decorated. Lovely voya products in the very spacious bathroom with double shower and free standing bath. Perfect night away and couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough.

Room Tip: Make sure to get a room with a view of the sea - even if it is extra it is so worth it.

Stay here overnight Friday - not the first time we have been and so pleased with the staff and their Covid practices in place. It was not very busy so nice to sit in the bar with only a few other tables occupied. Breakfast was lovely overlooking the sea and quiet with only a handful of tables occupied, we had to book a time slot for breakfast on check in. This hotel has the safety charter proudly displayed and all staff wear their badges and stickers are on all hand sanitisers . The staff were observed to comply with the Covid 19 charter cleaning after each guest.

Dear Nozzaroo, Thank you for letting us know of your experience during your overnight stay last Friday. We have been doing our utmost to comply with the COVID19 requirements and I am very pleased that you were comfortable with our compliance. We have removed tables from our restaurant and Wharf Tavern to ensure social distancing although Friday was a bit quieter than we had expected and some of our bookings were postponed because of the 'lockdown' in Dublin which meant that many guests have rebooked for another time. We are pleased to wear the COVID19 Safety Charter badges and comply with the requirements. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Hal McElroy
