We had a delicious meal here. Steak & sea-food pie which was very tasty with plenty of fish in it. All the reduce was of a high standard and mostly locally sourced from what I could gather. Good vibe about the bar and very efficient and friendly waiting staff. Would definitely recommend eating here when in Kinsale.

Our third visit and as before it was fabulous. The only complaint was the bed.. So uncomfortable but we did report it so hopefully they invested in a new mattress. Otherwise everything was lovely, great food, service and location. Will definitely be back.

Went to the Blue Haven with a friend recently for a few drinks and food. Ended up having dinner and Wow wow wow..!! Panko Scampi and Cod Special are to die for! We were served by a lovely manager who gave us lots of info and we were very impressed with the friendly barman. They convinced us to stay for... More

Randomly dropped in last Saturday with my partner and was waited in by an impeccable girl with long dark hair and trendy specs. Very friendly and had loads of info for us! Even went as far to recommend an upcoming musical event in the hotel for us which was greatly appreciated as she took the time to chat to us... More

Had dinner there on Friday January 15th 2015. Had to wait 5 minutes while staff finished a conversation before they found myself and my family a table. Menu was good but two of us where almost finished starters before second two arrived. Steak for main course at €25 was no more than 5ozs. Fish & Chips good value.

Had a late lunch in Hamlets which was delicious and the bar staff are super friendly and helpful. Very tasty Irish breakfast to the room this morning, piping hot and great variety. Highly recommend this hotel if you are... More

Loved our weekend here, from the cozy bar to the quaint bistro I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a getaway to remember. The bar staff are very friendly and attentive and promptly got us a table in the busy dining area where I had a Sirloin to die for. Our waitress was excellent and very adorable. The... More

Went for lunch with family and children. Good comfortable spacious restaurant, was good for kids but also good for friends lunch as well. God menu had the fish tacos which were really good - spicy and fresh - and had churros and hot chocolate for dessert - both delicious. Friendly and helpful service and good value also.

Last minute break away to beat the January blues, this hotel is in the centre of the town and walking distance to everywhere! The room was spotless, very comfortable and very tastefully decorated! One piece of advise is to bring a bottle of water, there was glasses provided but warm water ran from the taps! Very small issue I know!... More
