Clean, affordable, with a few restaurants downstairs. Location is fine, but if your room overlooks the street be prepared for extremely loud, extremely bad karaoke from the White House bar. Unfortunately we could not move rooms. Totally ruined a night's sleep.

Perfectly located and when you first enter this hotel you know your going to have a great stay as the staff are without a doubt the most friendly helpful bunch of people I have encountered on my travels. The room was comfortable and clean the breakfast is excellent with a great choice to suit all tastes with great service. The... More

As others have stated, the hotel is in a perfect location, we would stay there again, but since the hotel is very old it has some "settling issues". Our room, facing the street on the first floor - we would call it the second floor in the US - was slanting towards the street with probably a 10 inch drop.... More

I ate at the Blue haven at the start of July in the tapas restaurant with my wife at the start of our journey of the wild Atlantic way! I have to say it was such a lovely restaurant with a calming and relaxed ambiance! The staff couldn't have done more for us,our server was a beautiful young blonde girl... More

Hubby and myself recently spent a few days in Kinsale and we finished our stay with a meal in the bar bistro of the Blue Haven. It was one of our favourite meals and was a lovely way to spend the evening before we left this beautiful little town. The staff were helpful and attentive, the bar was completely relaxing,... More

This hotel is in the perfect location! It's within a very short walking distance to everything in town. You can open the windows to hear the sounds of town, which is fun. Fortunately, when you close the windows it's nice and quiet in the room. The rooms could use a bit of updating, but overall the experience was good.

Blue Haven is located right in the Town Centre! The staff was always extremely polite and helpful. We had a very small room on the backside but it fit all of our needs plus the price was great and it included a great breakfast. Friends whose room was in the front with a great view had to deal with street... More

Hi Micki, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We have a great team here at the Blue Haven and I am delighted to hear that you were well looked after. We are lucky to be in the town center but being in the center of town can mean that street facing rooms have passers by... More

After returning our over salted grilled sole the 1st time we would highly recommend all meals ordered (fish pie, scampi, fish & chips & calamari. All dishes were 1st class, taste testing of chowder plus lovely service. Staff helpful with exchanging our meal even a free drink for our troubles 😊 Will return

We had a very enjoyable stay at this decent town centre hotel. Rooms were good, with Nespresso machine and generally good free wifi. Breakfast choice was good, with freshly cooked mains, though omelettes and scrambled eggs on the dry side. We had an excellent dinner on one of the evenings, though service was slow (compensated for by a free bottle... More

Went in for a quick bite while visiting Kinsale. Had to wait for a bit for food to come out but it was well worth it! The Hake that I've ordered was amazing!! Every bite just melted in my mouth, wouldn't mind to get the same dinner again tomorrow😃 Definitely would return, price was also very friendly
