We just returned from 2 weeks in Ireland - 2 evenings with Jimmie in Kinsale. He was a wonderful host - lovely home and lovely breakfast! Kinsale is a wonderful town - my personal favorite on the whole "Rick Steves" inspired tour!

Jimmy was spot on with dinner recommendations. San Antonio house was so cool on the inside and very spacious. Old merchants house from Kinsale's trading heyday, but updated with modern fixtures. The breakfast was delicious - Jimmy will let you order whatever you want, but get his porridge (and not the cornflakes).

We enjoyed many delightful activities in Kinsale. Each night we had a restful, good night's sleep and then Jimmy treated us to a grand breakfast every morning. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant, engaging host. Jimmy is also a guitarist who sings beautiful folk songs. I am hoping he will email me the recipe for the delicious brown... More

Kinsale was a highlight of my family's 8 day trip in Ireland, in part to Jimmie's B and B. The location is great, rooms are large and clean, breakfast is fabulous, and Jimmie is endearing. He is always around when needed and provided great recommendations for dinner, drinks, and music. Lovely experience!

Parking is provided, and you can walk to everything in town. Our room was very quiet despite the "downtown" location. Jimmie was a fantastic host; you can tell he really cares about your stay at the San Antonio.

Our time in Kinsale was wonderful and a big part of that was due to our stay at San Antonio B&B with Jimmie. Such a gracious host. The B&B itself is in a great location - just 2 minutes away from many of the great pubs and restaurants in Kinsale (which is such an easy walking town!). The room we... More

The San Antonio is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast right in Kinsale. Jimmie is a tremendous host. The accommodations were top notch as was the breakfast. The home made porridge was a great addition to the hearty full Irish breakfast. But what really made the stay was Jimmie. His warmth and outgoing nature will really make you feel at home.... More

This was our first visit to Jimmie's and it was just wonderful. We stayed two nights at the San Antonio. Jimmie is a great host - funny, accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. He was very helpful in recommending places to see and places to eat. We walked everywhere and left our car near the B&B. The breakfasts were... More

On our recent trip to Ireland our family stayed two nights at the San Antonio and wished we had booked for more. The lovely town of Kinsale was one of our favorite destinations and that had a lot to do with the accommodations which included the perfect location, engaging host and phenomenal breakfasts. We left our car parked the entire... More

My third visit to Jimmie's and I can't wait for the next. San Antonio is very clean and breakfast is superb. Jimmie is very sociable and accommodating and treats his guest's graciously. Thank's for your hospitality once again Jimmie!
