If you are looking for a place to stay in Kinsale, look no further, this is the place! Jimmie and Noreen will welcome you as if you’re friends visiting their home! Your room is lovely and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, parking is free and convenient and walking the city is right outside your door! This was our favorite place during our two week tour of Ireland. So warm and welcoming! The true Irish experience!

The rooms are nice and the house is elegant. The best part of staying here was meeting with the proprietor, Jimmie. Jimmie is one of the kindest people I have ever met and he makes a great breakfast! We stayed for two nights and had great conversations with Jimmie who was a very gracious host. He made us feel at ease and did an excellent job introducing us with other guests as the arrived for the morning meal. Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue as I have stayed here a number of times over the last ten years. The owner Jimmy treats every guest as part of the family - royalty. He is a wealth of information and is always on hand to provide any assistance.

The location is perfectly postioned at the back of the town near to 'Desmond castle' and the local Gardi police station'. The rooms are well appointed and wonderfully clean and comfortable. The highlight of course is the breakfast in the morning a sure guarantee to putting on a little weight - just superb.

To sum up forget the rest and book in at San Antonio - a must stay you will not be disappointed I guarantee. So as always thank you again Jimmy and I will be seeing you again in the not too distant future.

This is a wonderful B&B right in the heart of Kinsale. The owner, Jimmie, was SO welcoming and helpful. It is located on a quiet street just up from the heart of Kinsale and so everything is nearby but it's just that little bit away so it's quiet for sleeping. He gave us so many great recommendations for pubs and restaurants and really couldn't have been more helpful. He has a little parking lot right at the hotel and that is a huge plus! The room as spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. If you're going to Kinsale, it's a super place to stay!!!

Kinsale is a beautiful town with great entertainment: fort, castle, museum, harbor, and pubs. However, what made it a memorable visit was our host, Jimmy, and his warm, welcoming, helpful nature to this comfortable home. If you are looking for fancy glitz, look somewhere else. If you appreciate an interested and smiling face to welcome you and a clean and comfortable room and bath, this is the place! Finding the San Antonio took us a few loops around town - the streets are quite narrow and some are one direction only. A tip...the San Antonio is next to St. John the Baptist Church, just below Desmond Castle, and across from The Old Presbytery hotel. We appreciated the opportunity to park our car on the premises and we loved being able to walk to dinner, pubs, and music. The location is ideal! The breakfasts were outstanding! We toured for two weeks around Ireland and then spent four weeks in Dublin and Jimmy's breakfasts were the best of the trip. We felt fortunate to discover the San Antonio and we hope to return.

We had orginially booked another B and B, however when we arrived they had heating problems so they kindly booked us at the San Antonio. We lucked out. Jimmie was a easy going, friendly, and helpful host. The room had everything we needed, including a small view of the church tower a few blocks away. Breakfast was hardy and we left Kinsale happy travelers. It does have off street parking should you need it.

Jimmy is a great host with a constant smile and subtle humor !! The rooms were clean comfortable and rather modern for such an old building. The decor in the hallway ,lounge, and breakfast room was wonderful. Beautiful pieces of sculpture and art. Some very old and some new. We got great advice and directions on pubs and restaurants. We had dinner and dancing to the great music at Kitty O'Sheas. The breakfast was cooked by Jimmy and oh so good ! Our own pot of excellent french press coffee and fabulous brownbread ! Would love to return. Excellent location.

So warm and welcoming, the rooms were big and comfortable, beware that there is no elevator, and all the rooms are on the 2-3 floor, so you have to haul your luggage up. Very walkable to the city and lots of interesting shops and restaurants everywhere. Breakfast is made to order and excellent

This was a great B&B in Kinsale. The owner Jimmy was extremely helpful to us both in making our reservation, and getting us settled in. He provided us with information on the city and the popular attractions, restaurants, and night life. The location was perfect and the room was clean and comfortable. We also had a fan which was fabulous given Ireland was in a heat wave. Jimmy ensured we had an early breakfast to get to the train on time and was a gracious host

Hi Meg, My stay was booked through a tour company I was with. Jimmy is very old school, no website. I believe you just call to make reservations. This is the number I have 021 477 2341. I think the country code is +353. Hope this helps! Cat

Very sorry to say that trip advisor does not allow the posting of any contact info. I would suggest either an internet search by name of the B&B, contacting the tourism office in Kinsale, or also I know he is listed in a few different guide books. good luck!
